Podex is now closed . LL shut down the accounts . Anshex also closed .

Just tried DX - site is non-functional and still shows "permanently closed" announcement .

Posex + Anshex now closed also for linden exchange . Any "negotiations" will take too long and many will lose land and expensive breedables. The knock on in SL economy will take a little while to show up but expect businesses to quit as well .

Agree 100% - either IDeal-Ucash-Paysafe card - all of which are easily available in europe . The problem isnt with the new TOS - it lies in the highly restricted ways that LL will accept payment . To add insult to injury - the advertisement running at the top while i type is for Paysafe . Gotta love irony As a solution would it not be possible for LL to set up a site here in Europe that does take a wide variety of payment methods and could only be used to BUY lindens , still requiring all outward payments to go via Lindex - this would cover the problems of customers in paying SL .

Nope -- if anything i'm a breeder of meeroos for the last 2 years , and occasional sessions at the club . Or are you suggesting that i'm making this up for fun ? SL forms a great part of my life , ive been inworld this week alone for over 85 hours , and its only lunchtime sat As land rental is due tomorrow -and i run out of food for my roos soon after that - and the exchanges shut yesterday for me , im kinda screwed , today is my usual buy Paysafe card-buy lindens day . to go through the process of setting up an account , getting that accepted by Paypal and then hopefully buying lindens through the lindex if sl let me , is too late - the roos die after 3 days with no food . I can't reasonably expect my inworld landlord to let me float my rental payments the weeks it will take to get accredited to use the lindex , i have no alternative right now to returning the land , releasing or giving away my roos , and loosing 2 years of breeding progress . So yes , while i'm not planning to leave SL - too many friends here for that, my experience has been ruined .

broadband service comes in with the rent , as do all my utilities -- the landlord accepts cash too .Before you ask so does my local supermarket . I'm english , live in Holland and as others here have said , even getting a local account would not help me at all as LL wont even accept Paypal unless linked to a credit card .

CASH <--- you know that funny looking stuff that comes in paper and metalic forms.

I have used the TP system for years , only to buy lindens , i have no bank account at all so paypal is out as well . Personally i have never had a problem untill now. I checked back through my Paysafe reciepts and on average i buy 200Euro a month in lindens (12.000L$a week) which covers land rental and food for my meeroos as well as inworld store purchases for clothes etc . Due to the change in TOS , i will have to give up the land and my meeroos , i will stay in SL as I have long standing friends all round the globe I have made here but will no longer be able to contribute to the economy to the same extent or possibly at all . As for it being a small hit to the economy , one of the exchanges which has closed traded 9billion L$ last year alone .

I saw that Anshex was still tradinbg but they also take a limited amount of payment methods If anybody knows of an exchange still operating that will take Paysafe or Ucash , please messae me in world .

Same problem here Labs dont accept enough payment methods - i can understand , to a certain extent , them wanting to monitor the outflow of Lindens , but preventing a large number of outside USA customers from buying Lindens does seem to be crazy. Not everybody wants to or can put in credit card details and the same applies to Paypal accounts , still require details . The Exchange I have used for years is closed - none of the remaining exchanges accept either Paysafe or Ucash . If you are selling enough inworld to justify "cashing out" on a regular basis , good for you . I for one now won't be able to buy from you .

I would quite happily put 25 dollarsat a time in-- i normally spend 50Euro a week on land rental and food for my breedables . The problem now , for me , is that i CAN'T buy lindens at all . I normally use either Paysafe or Ucash both of which are widely availabe here. As Lindex takes neither of these methods i for one am screwed . From just talking inworld to other Europeans i am not the only one with this problem . Ive been in SL for over 6 years , this chage won't drive me away, i've too many friends on here for that , what it will do is stop me renting land and having a home here .
