Questions for people who do gender bend What is your reason for gender bending? Because Female avatars are just Sexy. And besides I like being a Half Breed Neko/Elf/Human/Fur its very sexy being the mix. :3 And if you think you know who I am then yes its likely meh. What is the reaction that you get when you tell people your real gender is the opposite of your virtual gender? Really dont care. Voice or they are not a Female. Either way why bring RL to SL Enjoy the Game Have Fun ! When you play a new game do you automatically do it without thinking? No I just Prefer Female Avatars. Question for everyone. How do you think the playing experiences differ between playing as a male or female avatar? To me it really doesn't change the experience unless you want to talk about Sexists, or RolePlay wise. If so then it does change a bit playing RP, unless of course you roll a FUTA, or Femboy or something between the lines of both sexes then yes it can be different experiences otherwise I just enjoy the simulation/Game.

For example I know of this one big cyberpunk sim in Second Life I have known about it for 4 years the seller of the system has many malicious rumors about him, I tend to ignore the rumors but happen to know the people who helped design the system were part of the Emerald Viewer Team, and the person who also worked around or with emerald who makes illicit viewers and worked with botters happend to give the script and information to how the system worked yet the system is still in Second Life because the actual marketer runs multiple regions. The guy himself doesnt create much at all but he has many developers who create content and sell it on his sim I mean its good RP and I am into the whole MMORPG/RPG and support the sims I dont support the fact that I feel I am being spied on so I avoid wearing the huds or turning my media on now. I mean some common sense and I know from experience the people who created the hud with the spy crap got abuse reported for more than the hud itself for actually knowingly helping griefers with proof to LL nothing got done about any of them because of the money they were paying but the newbie who griefed their sims got reported by 4 people and immediately banned within 5 minutes unlike sandbox griefing that happens even in premium sandbox where the box is filled full of cubes and nothing happens for hours. Hopefully this will show some light on the way I see Second Life and why players need to protect themselves rather than depending on Linden Lab for everything because we will be lucky if they ever add Secondary Auth/IP verify to logins incase a Emerald Incident ever happens with any other viewer and players get hijacked on their accounts. It is no fun seeing your account PM everyone on your friends list Phishing Links, Inventory Deleted, and then Your account griefing others. While LL would likely unban the account by all means the damage to your reputation is done and god forbid you make it onto a Ban Network. and get banned from hundreds of sims because of a Hijackers actions. If only people really knew what I have seen in SL with some of the creators of these ban networks and whose side they are really on when it comes ot Malicious Activity and such, and backstabbing others and how far their connections went I will drop a hint. Second Life Military RolePlay its where a handfull of script kiddies hang at in general and are friends of the dude who made the ban network CDS, which had connections with other Malicious users who designed illegal viewers. Yeah Linden Lab did their job when it was all reported.

Please be aware of surveys on the forums while some maybe legit giving any Real Life information can compromise your SL account please allow me to explain. Some surveys require giving of Real Life information such as Name, Email, Signature for consent. Also sending money through third parties like PayPal discloses your RL name & Email. While some surveys maybe 100% legit it is possible that some are not legit lets assume the following flaws with Second Life. 1. When you create a second Life Account, You do not have to give any RL Identifying information you just create the account. This means that if you go inactive and dont use the account for a long time or someone Troll calls Linden Lab and gives them a false story that they do not remember the secret question this can lead to a compromised account. Now I know people will doubt me that this can't happen, Well it can and its why I encourage Linden Lab to add Requirement for RL Information on the account when signing up and keep records. If you want to add additional security to your account its advised you use a strong Secret Question, and put your RL Information on File, as well as notfy Linden Lab that they are not to allow anyone access to your account without knowing the secret question, or verification of all correct Real Life information you have provided. Other Common Tactics. . Be aware of fake links sent to you in SL, if you are a merchant someone sending a link to marketplace claiming your items were stolen. . Be aware of Fakse Suspensions/ban emails. . Never Download a viewer not on the TPV list site from any other source. . Disable Media, Cooking, And Java in SL when visiting other peoples parcels you dont know. . Do not wear Huds, or Rez Objects you do not know in SL with scripts turned on. . Do not Trust KingGoon, This is the biggest CopyBot on google search engines every viewer he releases has a password logger, and they steal and ruin every merchant in Second Life. .Use your brains if something seems fishy such as a Hud, Or item you get in SL it likely is. Many people do not understand the Hud Thing, The problem with huds is that there is a RP community based sim I wont give the name of because of rules but have the link of their video made public. Well the hud has IP loggers tracks alternate accounts without asking consent, and harvests information of all known accounts because of their so called Griefer issues they put this coding into their hud to track alternate accounts of players. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaA930nxI5w UC Meter, Do not use it if you don't want Alternate Accounts compromised, possibly be chatlogged, or other malicious activity. ever been "IM" in SL by an admin saying "What are you doing here" "Getting Banned on ALT from a RP sim without reason on an ALT" "Ever Had admins tell you they already had logs of "Local Chat" This is why spyware in your RP Huds. If you are fine with it by all means use whatever hud you want with "Spyware" /Malicious Activity. I will not. By wearing any hud in Second Life including Unity Core you can give away your alternate accounts, ans possibly compromise your SL account through Browser Hijackers/Phishing. If not careful. Google is your friend for researching everything I have just talked about, Just look up anyones Second Life name on google, Hud, or any other service provided in SL to make sure it is safe and legit before using the service if you find something unsafe don't risk your SL identy or account. With this said Linden Lab still needs to add IP verify like Guild Wars 2 has to help prevent Phishing. On something totally off Topic. . Do not use Red Zone, CDS, or Any Network Banned System, Heck don't even use anything with malicious scripts because you are only helping the creators of these systems spy on other residents, They will not stop griefers, and they will not stop CopyBot. There are ways to limit griefers on your Parcel, such as. . Parcel Allow List/Sim Allow List . Turn off Build/Script . Age Kicker but can harm legit new people. . Null Profile Kicker Bot.
