The experimental omega applier is outdated, did not work for me (at least till yesterday when I got a new copy). But the body I have that is BOM already, worked fine

No I dont think they will, I said that I hope - also alpha cuts are a nightmare, to me it was always easier to save the correspondent alpha as saved outfit, than having to apply a dif alpha cut everytime i change outfits.

I believe that soon, BOM will be the default option for everyone. Like Bento. New heads and bodies will be released (hopefully updated), people will get used it and eeveryone will forget appliers. Well, that is what I think about it. I see that being so much easier for everyone - I cant wait to get rid of alpha cuts

BOM will help those who wants to use their creativity and want to customize their avatar without having glitches and the limits of mesh head layers. I am sure appliers will still work for those who wants appliers - But I am so happy with BOM release and all the new possibilities it can bring. I am tired of the limits of applying one thing and seeying other disappear on the head. So I am more than thankfull. Not to mention the less lag it will bring when heads and bodies without onion layers comes out.

Maybe its that, I will go to omega store and get a new omega test applier.

Does it need to be on a certain region for that to work? Cause i got a red face with baked head written all over it. I used the omega bakes on mesh free addon on my head.

Me too, I had a friend that told me about SLGO years ago, but I never met anyone using Bright Canopy!

I am a guy, so I use Beleza Jake and Exmachina Davide. I always considered getting a kemono to use with my anime head.

These are my experiments, in the first head is the first experiment I did - I used an under eye concealer layer, cause the eye bags were off, but the other avatar that I tested, the skins fit very well (the other 3 pics). But as noted, nails wont align well, especially feet.

I tested and I liked - I guess the results will depend on the head you use - if the head is very close to SL UV map, the results will be better with old skins.

I meant the new bento heads and bodies - I doubt some will update for BOM - but as I got from the explanations above, if it's not made for BOM, the appliers will work fine.

What will happen with the bodies that don´t use SL UV maps and the bodies and heads that won´t be updated to BOM? Will they still be usable? I mean, will we be able to use the appliers we have on it?

When they sold everything for 500 and gave all clothes for free, I really thought they were leaving SL. And besides, with bakes on mesh coming, I am not sure if they will update for it.

I don't think you are an idiot, SL is to have fun! Go, girl! I am still intrigued by this deformer, the deformers I have seen so far, deform the clothes as well, I never heard of one that kinda mimics other bodies.

5K is a lot of money! At least for me.
