Actually, while the intention may be valid, the effect is not. It only leads to more creators adding their shop name to the individual product descriptions, as some of them already did (and some always did). And frankly speaking the very concept of having to use two different search functions in order to finally get to the product of the creator you are looking for is exactly the kind of unintuitive solution someone lacking any practical sense can come up with.

Well that leaves getting vendor names back into the search and getting the search priority settings to work again.

They seemingly are still in "programmers are always right"-mode, despite these changes having been conceptualized by people who definitely have a rather theoretical knowledge about searching the marketplace for specific items and no clue about intuitive handling. Anyway, this is going to be reversed once the quarterly reports reveal how much revenue they lost does to this nonsense. Excluding vendor names for the search alone is a grave mistake, but there is no use in complaing. This is going to solve itself eventually.

Thank you for the guide, but sorry, but simply taking away the old windlights and replacing them with a new, unwieldy (and still buggy) editor without any opt in/opt out option is an inherintly stupid move by LL. You do not trash a feature that has been around for years and was way more convenient, especially for sim owners (i.e. people that habitually pay for L$ to pay their SL rent).

Issue still persist on an on-and-off basis. A professional service would have installed a redundancy solution for something as sensitive as login servers. One that does not log you out again immediately, falsely claiming that you were disconnected because you tried to log in from a different region. Disturbing.
