Whenever we get our stipend late, I always wonder how LL would feel about us paying our land or premium fees late.
Actually, they do give you a few days grace on it. If your payment fails to go through you get a couple of days to update your payment before any action is taken, there is no fee associated either.

Please consider St Lewes. It’s a British themed community with a plethora of child friendly activities and spaces. We have a number of shops, public buildings, allotments for farming, train, pre-school and so much more.
Search St Lewes on the map.
We are EU time zone heavy.

I tried it, and...meh?
Doesn't look anything like the images, videos or previews they have been pumping out.
Most of the sims I visit are adult in nature so no luck there.
Maybe when access to groups is allowed it might be useful for customer service but....without adult region access? Idk I mean, who is even going to use it?
I mean, it's entirely possible and perfectly allowed to install an app directly from Linden Lab rather than the App Store by installing the correct certificate. its how third party app stores are installed without jail breaking and doesn't go against any TOS to install that way.
Maybe a dumbed down version for "App Store advertising" and if you want to go adult you can install direct from LL?
Or make adult access a premium thing that you have to pay for. Theres enough NSFW apps on the IOS store that you have to pay for access to.
I just dont see this being a big thing without adult access.
I agree, thoroughly disappointed of what I’ve seen. Such a shame.
I really wish I had it in me to believe in it getting better.

This position is still available.
I am also looking for a PA to assist with the day to day running of St. Lewes, please message me directly.

This is one of those policies where it says profiles must be general, but then fails to actually fully specify what that means.
For example, if a group can be created and mentions something (lets use the word sexy) in it, and this is allowed, and there is no way to filter certain types of groups then how can one be told that group is very naughty because it's too sexy. A case of lack of tools for residents.
Furthermore, the fact that the policy is that you as a user must moderate your own profile to the extent the policy implies is another case of lack of tools for residents. If I go to a sexy sim and put that place in my picks, then it shouldn't show for residents who have their filters set to not show Adult rated content, it's that simple.
This is a case of lack of utility within SL and therefore an almost ludicrous policy exists to fix the lack of tools and utility to residents.
In short; if my profiles content, as in the content I physically upload and write in my own words is General, then this should be enough. The content of wording in Picks if unedited from the land, the photo from the land and the group names and descriptions should have no impact on me because they have been defined as within policy otherwise. It's just a lack of utility and frankly is no ones problem that we don't have the correct tools built into SL to allow for correct ratings, we all know the ratings in SL make almost no sense.

If SL was an actual sandbox, then sure, this might make sense.
But considering you buy the land then rent the land from LL at a monthly cost either directly or through your subscription I find it ludicrous that things one builds on the land they pay for to then "go away".

Seems like a nicely planned and themed sim. It is also very true to UK village life right down to there being no bank 😀
Absolutely, even the post office has all but left!

With the vast majority of people at St. Lewes being from the UK & Europe all of our events and upcoming classes etc will be tailored mostly to that those timezones.

That's very cool - I'm UK based and it is very hard to find sim's that operare in that time zone.
Second question, what rating is the the region(s) and how family / kid friendly is the sim?
The region is Moderate (M), as we have residential homes here, which are parcelled and limited to parcel viewing. We have a robust covenant which is enforced for the safety and comfort of our visitors and residents which outlines strict rules around Mature themes in public spaces.
The sim is family and child friendly and is at the forefront of our decision making for the sim, we have families living here and we have a number of activities for children including, daycare, library, play area, indoor play area and we’re also adding workshops/day school in the coming weeks.

Is it just a British theme or are the events tailored to the British / European timezones?
Yes, our peak hours are during the EU time zones, as this is where the majority of our visitors and residents are from.
