  1. Mine are... why were so many asking questions that required the response. And trust me this is hard. I started the damn thread... So Cpt Duh how is my respect to respond to what I see in a thread I created a problem? See that iddy biddy click button. And close... So I dont have to keep speaking on my thread.
  2. Mhmm and it was not meant as a slight... you were helping the discussion in a way that it was intended. My apologies if it came out wrong. This is Penny. Confusion in translation in languages is hard. Yes there is spell check. I swore for a long time a friend of mine was being lazy and had no idea why they didn't use it. Until one day I found out. He had taken a fall off a 3 story building when he was 16 and was lucky to be alive but was left with a severe brain disability he was ashamed of. He could no longer process some of the what we would call common mistakes that could be taken as lazy. I felt horrible. It takes him longer to read messages and longer to reply. But it made me aware. There is more to life than what is seen, and this is me, after that day. I will never berate anyone for something as what we would consider simple, like that ever again. And I do my level best not to say anything in a public forum that can be used as a tool to humiliate. Not saying you did. - its just not right. - thank you for telling this to me. I do appreciate your candor and trust nothing ill willed was intended. Until we are walking in someone's shoes, we can never be positive of what is really going on. And I never want to feel the way I did that day...ever again. Take care and again ty
  3. Thank you all for helping out...the following replies below Im not responding to...its done and dusted.. Points made. Thank you all tc
  4. I will message you personally Theresa.... if thats ok.. I dont think its ok to post personal things in public.
  5. Maybe its because its the way it is presented? I didn't see any disrespectful, comments other than the jokes that started. And now are continued. The topic was designed to get respected, educated and articulate responses. Never once did I see anyone that disagreed with the topic presented in an articulate, respectful, and educated response ridiculed. Those that did were thanked for bring an adult response. The ones that took that post and made it a joke. I feel bad for. I can respect those that respect others opinions and respond according ling. I can't respect those that see threads like these as a way to humiliate and start in to a joke fest.
  6. Thank you all for making a good point. The original post was known to start a dialog. Respectful dialog. And those that had a respectful educated discussion even it didn't agree were and are respected. To those that took the whole idea and used it as a butt of a joke. You had the opportunity to not say anything. But I am glad you did chime up. You made a point for her. Seems drama, ridicule and ambivalence really have taken over. Thank you all very very much.
  7. Thank you ..you made the point. If you want to be taken seriously, please act like an adult.
  8. Partly... but is was also to bring out the best and worst. Whether agreed or not...I respected the educated, articulate, and while I didn't agree. (Yes this is Penny's storage unit one lol) Long story. One day I was watching the forums. And was really sad. People using these forums to be a way to make the author a butt of a joke. I knew ahead of time it was going to stir up something. Those that responded even if I didnt agree earned my immediate respect. Others that turned it into the butt of a joke well. I feel bad for. Really do. If I have to stand alone to try to make even one persons life a bit better, its worth it to me to take a bit of glarp. The others I could be nasty ..but they made my point without saying anything. Thank you for being honest. Take a good look at where humanity is now. Its not funny. Its scary as all hell. Why not take a stand here. I've been through riots, protests, had to sneak through back alleys because martial law during WTO, my building was in the "red" zone. So Ive been tear gassed, the whole building was what was called the "red Zone". Had to prove I was working there. Ive seen martial law. All because a group of protesters thought it funny to roll lit dumpsters into a quiet line up of police. My office window had a birds eye view. Watching all the glass thrown at the police, then the mass destruction of office buildings all because this one group had to join in and thought it amusing. Maybe I am trying to hammer a point. This is a small venue. If you have ever heard a police riot squad walking in formation hitting their shields with their batons, trust me that is the scariest sound I have ever heard. And you never want to have to sneak though back alleys watching the destruction that they thought was funny, while is seems to be a larger situation than a forum. At least its a start.
  9. The point was not to lighten up. Thats too easy. May have a ***** but takes HUGE balls to say something that people wont "lighten up"
  10. There are two people a man and woman who have many avatars they created to have sex with underage avatars from avi looking ages of ten and under. I've reported them and all thier alts to LL but I was wondering if there was a better or faster way of stopping these two. He's so twisted making them have sex with animals, participate in group sex, watersports and taking them to adult sims like Big Bang Sex park and Public Disgrace. She poses as a child to help him. She does this so he wont force her to do the sick twisted things he has the other girls and boys do. They are both outside the US so I dont know if there is anything I can do in real life to stop them, What worries me most is he is a real life father of 5. Any ideas? In response how I know about thier real life is he IM'd me as my teen avatar and we started to get to know each other as friends, he shared his real life information as well as hers. He told me this stuff on voice in private IM then as I got to know them a bit more he then told me to get a toddler avi to take to places like Grandpa's Basement, The Restroom, DNT and Golden Sun Beach. I removed him, blocked him and his girlfriend, blocked all thier alts and reported them.
  11. No Poes it isnt against the TOS. Any one can ban you for any reason whether you have "done" anything or not. Though I have to say to some that have replied to the question when someone asks a honest question and ask for help you maybe jaded by "silly" questions on the form it is respectful to answer them with out short curt answers. We all need help from time to time. No need to be rude.
  12. Thank you for all the input. There wasn't a time frame I was given. I was ejected in less than 2 minutes. Not 10. I was dancing and talking while I was trying to talk to the security person(she wasn't wearing a staff tag), coupled with a lag I didn't have enough time to bring up the notecard let alone detach the tail. As far as Neko...the only thing I wear are the ears and tail. I had been on this SIM about a dozen other times. To be honest I have visited so many SIMS that I don't always read every rule card. But since this was the first time it was addressed, and I had been there before when the owner was on the SIM in tail, I was clueless. There is no reason to be rude to anyone for an honest mistake. And I freely admitted I made one. I went back that one time and haven't returned since. Talking to a few others that used to frequent that SIM they have also had issues and haven't returned. I haven't removed myself from the group yet. So I still get the broadcasts about the DJ's playing and them trying to get people to the SIM to listen to them. One comment was "Let's get some butts in the seats". And it replayed several times during the sets. Knowing many DJ's and Hosts...the club may survive being independently funded but the other service staff at the clubs rely on traffic to earn tips. If the security staff are running off the patrons it hurts the other staff. On the plus side. I have been to many, many, many SIMS where "oops" happen and the tagged security staff are more than tolerant and usually start the conversations with "Hi...."Fred Resident", please don't do.....". Very rarely is anyone ejected unless they really refuse to comply. Those SIMS are always on the "Hot Destinations" list 24/7. Thank you again for the constructive input. :cathappy:
