I went to billing information. I entered my debit info. It shows up as a saved method of payment. Does this mean it has been legitimately accepted?

I have a Visa Debit card. If I enter this information in the credit card section for purchasing L$, will I be charged as a debit card or as a credit card? (As in having to pay interest).
