I have been using the Catznip viewer because it is simalar to SL's but for the sake of success in my tryst I am willing to use that viewer if neccessarry....I use diferent viewers for different alts....BUT ANYWAY.........I have been attempting to do an upload without success.... I have uploaded images & pix B4 and have done that well and understand how that works, although I've done that through building things and added uploads as textures only....Here is the issue, and it could be my computer not my error or sl glitches..... When I go to do the "sound" upload , everything starts out okay as usual untill it comes to the search process on my hard drive, where inadvertently it shows "nothing to be found" through sl's link....... Now when I go to that spot through my own navigation through the hard drive files...EVERYTHING is there as it should....So what I am trying to figure out is am I skiping a step or is there a greater technical difficulty????? Can it pull it off windows media, iTunes, real player...do I burn a cd???????? >'.'<

So on that theory, I could pay with L$ if I had the right amount plus I usually reset the payment thing after use....looks like I gotta fix that

I am a premium client and absolutly love my Linden Govt. project home and all the bennies that come with it. My yearly time is soon approaching, and I do not want to lose the house I spent so much time ~$~ & love building, so? How do I go about renewing my membership smoothly without abrupt disruption in the transition. I plan to pay yearly again. >'.'<

I am considering a Linden home instead of being a vagabond which I practically am in REAL life, but I have just one question. I understand there is no modification other than decorating, does that include adding "platforms" or something like additional flooring? I really am partial to the "Cypress" house but would like to make better use of the space provided by adding tiers or attatchments from wall to wall. It would be good for my alts and visitors, plus the ceiling is so high I could feasably have 2 large floors (ground & second) with the addition of 2 messanines, one midway between the ground floor & 2nd, & the other acting as a loft between the 2nd floor & the ceiling. Either of which messanine would only cover no more than half of the floor plan for continuity, almost acting as an oversized landing because the stairs, ramp or ladderway would connect to and run through all 4 levels. That and I don't want to make the place too clausterphobic, the idea I have in mind would split the difference.

I have been steadily trying to get "IN WORLD" for some time now to no avail, when I go to my friend's place (real life) and hook up to his system everything works lickety split like nothing ever was wrong. He lives quite a few miles away with a different internet provider. It is only here at my home that I have been having much difficulty, and we have COMCAST. I have fixed the firewalls and all as such to comply with regulations and have been deducing the problem by one big process of elimination. I started the account at my friend's place so I had no idea this was going to be an issue. Comcast just seems to be bull**bleep**ting their way allong and making up strange excuses as to why "they have no idea why it wouldn't work" and so & so. "DOES ANYONE IN THE SECOND LIFERS CLUB HAVE COMCAST AS THEIR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER?" We have a "20" Mgs p/s bandwidth which should be enough, not supreme but not shoddy either. The other issue is bottlenecking and lost product or never recieved product, I know how to handle that now BUT, first and foremost, I HAVE TO GET IN GAME to instant message the vendors, its been damn near 3 weeks or so since I bought stuff & need to be punctual on this as to not look illegitamate, or I have to dispute charges on my credit card bill. I would rather get in game and put these technical issues to rest, I really like the idea of "VIRTUAL INFINITY" and would be more than disheartend if this was to end this way... S.O.S....Mayday.....please help!!!!!!!??????????

I am finding out that I know less and less about the computer I have inhereted (Family hand me down), all of your suggestions were very helpfull sound advice, but I am starting to lean towards the problem being a video card deficiency. Not saying that I am above opperator error, but I think its the card because my iTunes has been having display driver difficulties as well as of late. This whole trouble shoot has been one process of elimination after another, which is the only way to determine the problem. And yes , I hate to admit it but I am deffinately an UGGAH BUGGAH type when it comes to tech logic, which sometimes seems to defy actual Dr. Spock logic, or maybe thats just the uggah buggah in me talkin, but any way, thanx and I am deffinately checking out the Geek Squad (actual company) to make sure that this computer is Second Life compatable and ready. THANKS AGAIN for all the help, it still might be a few more days before I get to go sailing in my ship like the "Time Bandits" but untill we meet again here's wishing you a happy voyage home!!!!!! Recieved all kinds of messages, dinked around with the firewall, got graphics updates, video card update, this that the other, still unable to log in. I know everybody's computer is different so things might not apply in all cases but I could also just be goofing a basic tech type of thing that should be a simple fix. Man I just want to put on my gear and go sail my boat already!!!

I'm sorry to inform you I don't have the answer to you issue, I have the same one. My symptoms may offer you a clue however because in my case I have started an account, bought an avatar and a ship, and I cant get the thing started for the life of me!? Anyways good luck.
