    When did you last see a Bellessarian home available?

    I think abandon and catch is very risky and probably most of the time unsuccessful. Someone here announced releasing a house in Deer Pass not long ago and I refreshed and clicked for nearly an hour. Nothing showed up. So I went to the house in Deer Pass and it was still with the Lindens. I had to give up and go to bed as I was just off night duty. I think it seems to vary greatly how long a house is released after abandoned.

    I continually got the error page and didn't catch anything.

    I have just been on my land on Toad Hollow and seen a blue dot on Mini map. I clicked and it was a Linden - a female, I cannot remember the first name. She was only there a few minutes and as soon as she disappeared I got the 'restart' notice.

    Perhaps sorting out some problem. She was on the camper site on the other side of the river from Toad Hollow. They have yet to be released.

    I rarely catch a house during a release of a region as I am either working or my internet is too slow to 'win' (not sure if it is that the internet is faster elsewhere than here in Ireland or that I am too slow at clicking 😊 ). Most of the houses I catch have been abandoned by others. I tend to take the opportunity to 'fish' just when I have a spare moment, usually on my phone. I thought I would use a thread for people to show the lovely places that are being abandoned. So don't give up hope those who haven't managed to catch what they want. It doesn't need to be a release day to get a lovely home.

    Has any one gone back to visit their very first home is sl be it linden or other and why???

    Edited to add photo of 1st home on Symmetry and my first photo with this account.

    I first came to Second Life because the university I was studying with (as a mature student) had an island here. The students got free university apartments with a social area in the middle. Its gone now and I wouldn't want to go back anyway as it was inhabited mostly by a***oles and griefers. This was back in 2007, so a distant memory now and I used a different account then which I deleted before coming back with my present account. I have photos of most of my homes with this account and I had a little spot on the mainland which I do still go back to look at from time to time because it evokes fond memories.
