  1. It's possible that a setting file for that one user is corrupted. This is why I recommended trying another viewer. If everything is fine on that viewer, then the original viewer is to blame. You can either trash the viewer subfolder for the problematic avatar, or do a clean install. If the problem persists across both viewers, then something odd is happening in the asset servers and you may need to open a support case. --------------------------------------------------- Bingo! this was it... something corrupt in the users settings.. loading obviously with it. Deleted the setting folder and all is well. Thanks to all who replied and a big one to you Madelaine!! Bill
  2. Many thanks to all for the many great suggestions.. This one is stumping me good.. :smileyhappy: In looking at this further.. its even more of a conundrun... Its seems its not the avi, or anything worn.. (AO, skin, shape, mesh bodies, clothes, shoebase etc) but the particular user that is getting the issue. extensive testing has been done to eliminate anything worn to be the issue. Example: User A (who has the problem) lies on a bed, sits in a chair, cuddles.... If looked at, this user will always appear to be floating.. Seen by User A and any other user logged on. User B (without the issue) sits or lies in any of those spots.. and is located in the correct elevation. Both users running the lates version of firestorm in this case. What could possibly cause one user to have this issue?
  3. Thank you also for the response. This happens laying, sitting, etc.. with a classic or mesh avi with this certain user. menu adjustments do work for this.. but it is not the real solution here as there is 'something' making this partiucular user's avi sit high on all poses.
  4. that was one of my later guesses... not it. hover was at 50 already Thank you for the response This happens with a mesh avi and also a classic. its got me stumped.
  5. Have an avi (user) that 'sits' a touch too high in most any poseball. have done everything imaginable to find the issue. Took off everything... even went to the 'default avi'... relogged.. and still.. the avi is too high. What could this be? Any other user sits correctly on the poseballs in question. What would make an avi be too high?
