I and several members have asked about this glitch but no one from LL seems forthcoming in answering the issue.

Im getting this error all the time at different locations. This is an error that needs to be fixed. SL group owners need to be able to have note cards available for members. I worked for 3 hours on note cards today saving at intermediate steps. On the final save.... all the work for the day disappeared. None of the saves today actually saved anything. There after when I tried to start over I keep getting an error on attempted save. IF the note card system WILL NOT WORK.... then group owners need a different and functional mechanism to pass information to members and nonmenbers clicking an information box.

I can hear music in SL therefore my headphones work and the general volume setting is ok. I have gone to ....voice echo canyon....and can not hear myself ....though others can hear me therefore my microphone is also working. With a working microphone and head phone speakers what would cause me to NOT be able to hear voice chat? I disabled voice chat then reenabled it. This did not help. I moved the sound for voice chat from its default of half maximal up to maximal and this didnt help. Its as though voice chat is on mute though I am finding NO option to mute all of voice chat. I see the white dot over my head and over the heads of others change to green as we talk. I hear none of it. Suggestions? Hopefully I found an answer. Other than Me ...Preferences in the upper left....and the Chat button on the bottom menu...there is yet a THIRD area controling Voice Chat Sound. In the upper right under the X there is a sound icon. Click that and IN THERE is a box which must be checked otherwise Voice Chat is MUTED. There is also ANOTHER volume control slider in there for voice chat. That volume slider setting seems to match the one found in Me ...Preferences...so Im assuming you can set that EITHER place. The check box which seems to set mute and unmute voices as far as I have found on digging for 2 days is found no other place. Hopefully this will solve MY problem. If not I will adendum this again. I will leave this post up so that OTHER people may benifit from what I found. I STRONGLY suggest that this information be added to all newbie orientations. I visited MANY orientation sites hunting for an answer, the SL web site, AND online live customer support and could not get an answer. I noticed that sound icon by accident as I was reaching up to the upper right to close SL to reboot.

When I zoom in on an item to edit....as SOON as I hit edit .....the program automatically CHANGES the camera angle. Its not just that the camera view changes WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! The camera view that is picked as a default is from OVER my avatars head looking down on her. How am I supposed to edit her body, clothing etc from that view. It means I have to stop and change the camera position again. How do I set the program to NOT change the camera view for ANY reason without my permission? This also occurs when I try on clothing. If I wanted the camera angle changed I would change it. Again I need the option to NOT move the camera without my permission.

I want something to click that causes my avatar to stand STILL with her hands at her sides. I need this to edit her body, clothing and or what she is holding. I do NOT want her moving OR raising her hand indicating I am editing something.
