i have reinstalled ubuntu 12.10 32bit which viewer will work best? was wondering also if i should install wine and just run a windows version of firestorm since thats the viewer i prefer. or since i am on a laptop is there a better OS to use than ubuntu?

has anyone upgraded to kubuntu 12.10 ? i am alsoon a 64bit laptop and was wanting to install second life but i am very new to linux and have no idea about any of it. this is my very first linux system. please help.
