What else can I do, updating My viewer should not have caused this issue "sort by [insert option]" is one of four lines of options in that section. Read all the options then select to achieve the display you would like to see. Saying "out of order" or "jumbled" doesn't explain how you want to view your list. People want to see their list sorted in different ways, hence the options.

Preferences - Firestorm - General subtab > Contact list options Also, the current release of Firestorm has the ability to search for settings. Menus (search on the menu bar) and Preferences (at the top of the Preferences window). You can type in a keyboard and it will show you which page or menu the keyword appears. Just remember to clear the search once you've found what you're looking for.
  3. KarraSue wrote: Why didn't they inform users running 4.6.9 40478 that it was going to be blocked today? Hi KarraSue. The Firestorm build which was blocked on February 20th was 4.6.1. (40478). There were indeed two warnings; one on February 13, 2015 and the other was December 10, 2014 when Version 4.6.9 was released. This is in keeping with the blocking versions policy announced by the team on November 16, 2013. The top 3 blog posts (which still includes the blocking of Version 4.6.1. post) can be seen on the splash screen whenever you launch the viewer. Unfreakinbelievable. lmao The "Favorites" folder is hidden in the Linden Lab viewer so you can't put anything in it by mistake. The only reason you're seeing it is you're using a viewer that chooses to un-hide it. It's only hidden if it's empty. The debug setting ShowEmptyFoldersWhenSearching (Show folders that do not have any visible contents when applying a filter to inventory) defaults to FALSE. With Firestorm viewer, this setting is exposed in Preferences - Firestorm - General subtab - Hide empty system folders from inventory.
  5. Annalise Ember wrote: For some reason (or arbitrary, idiotic excuse) or other, I can only put SOME things into my favorites folder. EG: SOMETIMES I can create a subfolder for items from one creator, and stick it in another subfolder inside "favorites" and SOMETIMES I can't. I just created a subfolder for stuff from one creator and tried sticking it in my "favorite undies" subfolder inside "favorites" and can't. Other times I have no problem doing stuff like that. WTF is the point in having a "favorites" folder if SL chooses what can go in and what can't? And who's the witless wonder that comes up with these moronic ideas anyways? The Favorites folder is for Landmarks, not for stuff. Putting a landmark into that folder and enabling the Favorite bar allows you to TP quickly to a favorite location without having to pull one up from inventory or TP history. It also allows you to login directly to one of those favorites from the login screen. The witless wonder who came up with the moronic idea probably should have prevented the ability to add anything to that folder other than landmarks.

Your thinking is correct as offline messages include IMs, inventory offers, group notices, and group invitations received. Both the Wiki and the Knowledge Base state this. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Limits http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Text-chat-and-instant-messages/ta-p/700155#Section_.2.6
  7. Suki Hirano wrote: I was having severe local chat lag, so I decided to relog and clear cache. After logging back in, and very patiently waiting for my inventory to fully load, my avatar was still a cloud. So I went to the "worn" tab, and at first it's displaying nothing except the Firestorm Bridge attachment. No hair layer, eyes, shape, skins, not even the ruth hair fix. But all of a sudden it would attach a huge list of completely random items in the inventory (not part of previous outfits, most of these I never even worn before). So I manually detach everything, then attach one item at a item from the de-ruth kit (replace outfit would freeze the client, reason will be explained in a bit). Every time I attach an item from the ruth kit, a few dozen more random items would attach themselves. This is why I can't use "replace outfit", because it would freeze the client (about 200 items attaching themselves at same time). Btw this happens for ANY item I try to attach in the inventory, not just the de-ruth kit. Using latest Firestorm. Does anyone know how to fix this?
