  1. Thank-you, I will definately post no matter what happens, but they absolutely NEED to have a different procedeure. I WILL NOT continue to be a Premium member after this, and my confidence in their Tech and security is at a negative 0 right now. Just to note they had absolutely No problem with getting the money out of my account last month when they did their rolling restarts and i lost about three days being able to move or build lag free, and then not again on the first of this month when they decided to lock me outta my account without telling me why, save to say that it looked like there was some suspicious activity going on. The Forum has been, so far, the only place that has offered me any kind of comfort in this, and I STILL have NO CLUE as to why they did this, or even if I'll get my account back ~Aire Xaris
  2. This is the First time this has ever happened to me, and it really has opened my eyes to how absolutely piss poor customer service is in Second life. I have been a member here for four years now and recently and for the Second time, went premium. I logged in tonight to find, without warning or provocation that my account has been put on Administrative Hold. Before I get another "I LIVE in the rectum of LL Wiki and KNOW absolutely everything about SL and am co sponser of the Linden FaceBook Fan page and they can't POSSIBLY Suck as bad as you say they do... um.. Person *Blink... Blink DON'T! ok... JUST DON'T ~ Not in the mood ;) I didn't do anything to deserve this, I deserve an answer, and i'm not going to tolerate we'll get around to letting you know when we're ready. I, like a lot of you, have spent waaaaaaaaaaay too much money and time in here to be given a snotty text telling me to basically piss off ~ and stop sending in tickets. I had absolutely NO problems when I was a basic. I only went Premium to have a place to tuck my drop boxes, and yaknow for thr great "Support" Pfffft It's been well over twelve hours now and I still have absolutely NO explaination as to why they put a hold on my account, other than to say it looks to them like there was some "Unusual Activity" (Their official disclaimer~not my words). On my main account Aire Xaris They can't or they won't tell me wether or not my pesronal info has been compromised ~Premium account ;) In case you were wondering how they handle Premium accounts ;) This is how: Thank you for contacting Linden Lab. Upon review of your original case, I see that you are requesting the release of your account. We will be closing this ticket as a duplicate but we want you to know the current status of the original case. Currently, it appears that our escalations team is reviewing your eligibility to be reinstated.   3. ~And if youre wrong? Then what happens. What if it takes six days instead of just thre "three" that you're guessing at? What if it takes 2 weeks and I lose my rented Sim(s) builds, vendors, group members etc ~And if YOU a "Contributor" in Forum can surmise all this, how is it that Support on the phone gave me the big Um... Yea, no idea why there's a hold on there ......o.0 Yea, I'll be sure to check the old Spam folder for that e-mail from Linden Labs Boo Boo department ~ Um Thanks for the bumper sticker They do make lovely band-aides PS, Is there any particular position that's more comfortable while I'm bent over watching my tier I've already paid for go to waste? or anticipating, as you speculate, for them to take "suspect" amount of Lindens away? Personally, I think thy're Tech support department needs some quality time with thier PR & marketing department, because you don't tell paying customers stuff like this " Before you are able to login again, we would like to talk with you about some unusual activity on your account. Accounts are held as a safety precaution when we have reason to believe they have been misused or compromised." ~without making DAM sure that the socially awkward geek squad understands that these same folks need to feel comfortable enough at some future point in handing Linden Labs over their personal banking info um again maybe they just need to hang out in Forum more often Yea?
  4. Here's some great advice though, Don't pay for Premium, and don't pay your tier for longer than a week in advance. Apparently they can just Hold your account for what ever reason they decide, not give you any warning, tell you there may or may not be security issues, and pretty much tell you to go pound sand ~ they'll get to you when they get to ya___ IF they even do. Not much of a Customer service upgrade from Basic, but then I never actually had any problems when I was a basic account. ~ I certainly wasn't worried about any "Unusal Activity" surrounding my account whatever that means... could mean my personal information, could mean my bank account ~still don't know, can't seem to get any answers from them

Oh yea, and recently I've been congratulated twice by Representative Linden for upping my rank, ~simply for signing in under my other account to complain about being put on Administrative hold for no given reason, save for being told that there's been some" strange activity" Can't seem to get any answers out of Support, where my account may have been compromised, but I can sure get a pat on the shoulder from an automated Linden pretty freeking quick for pissin about it eh ~what's up?
  6. They don't care. I've been a member here for four years and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. I am currently a Premium member, my real avi is Aire Xaris. I logged in tonight and was met with the "we've put you on Administrative hold" ~call this number, submit this tciket, get in line. I called, the lady on the phone who told me she was going to expidite the process cause she couldn't see a reason why it was put on hold~ she asked me my security questions, I passed her test and now here I am about 12 hours later and I still have been given Absolutely NO REASON as to why they did it. I've gotten a couple of rude e-mails telling me to stop with the tickets, but yaknow what.. That's my Real life bank account that's connected to that not so Real Life account, and when you give me a message that has the words "Unusual Activity" connected in some way, and then NOT tell me what's going on, I expect some type of an answer other than "we're looking into it, plese be patient. I can't cancel my Premium account without canceling my main avatar account. I have vendors, a rented homestead, a satelite store~ can't get to any of it. ~Can't get an answer why I have plenty of these
  7. I think it's absolutely hilarious that while I was posting, I got an automated e-mail from ~somethingorother Linden, congratulating me on my rank. that's freekin Hilarious! I can't gety any help at all from support, as a four year Premium account member, but in my alt. who has maybe 100 things in her invenory, I get a congratulations 2 seconds after I post about not getting any attention~ You guys got my vote for being the most outta touch with customer's needs of the year award Way ta go! ~Aire Xaris ( I guess soon to be the former)
  8. We have placed your account on an Administrative hold ~Yea FAMILIAR With this BS! I have done NOTHING WRONG and yet here I am, a premium member ~been here for FOUR YEARS, and when I went to log in earlier tonight I got this little gem^ I called support, they were clueless, threw some urgency into their voice and made up some BS line that they were going to send this into the "Quick take a look at this" pile and get there exclamation point team on it. I'm beyond pissed. I received no indicating e-mail that there was a complaint against me (I can't remember the last time I've actually had any extended contact with the general public, I'm mostly a builder and quiet eye designer with a very small group) I called my bank, checked my statements ~linden lab got their Premium payment on time, (I didn't put them on Administrative hold for no apparent reason or anything like that) I checked my e-mail, (yes, for those of you and___ before you even ask,__ who have been here proverbially five minutes longer than everybody else that could possibly know anything~ even Philip himself, I did check the addy that is associated with the avi that has now gotten the inexplicable time out in the penalty box :matte-motes-wink: mmmkay I have submitted ticket after ticket and I WILL call every five minutes if I have to. Currently there is no way to change my Premium account to Basic without canceling the Entire account. ~ You have two options when they place your account on Hold. You can submit a ticket, or you can cancel your account. I'm about 10 hours into this hellish nightmare and I sti;ll have absolutely no idea weather I've been hacked, if there was a complaint about me, or if Linden labs is just basically screwing with me~ no clue at all:matte-motes-smile: Isn't that awesome?
