Thanks for the advice! I use Firestorm but also tried the SL-viewer.... no luck Everything is up to date - using Mac here so I don't think there is a lite viewer that works. LL answered a support ticket I sent... no luck yet that way either.

Thanks to all for the suggestions... unfortunately none worked ..... tried reducing setting to minimum (nice trick to get in to preferences!), tried other areas (lots of them), have cleared cache manually also. I can still log in as normally with alt! With the main avi, I did not use any new texture/clothing/attachment when this all started. But for couple minutes before the crash, I could not add clothing items to avatar. I also did find some way submitting help ticket (VERY hidden), LL did not yet make any answer or even acknowledge it.

Is it possible to reset an avatar without being logged in to SL? I can't log in because it always crashed immediately and PROBABLY it is something that my avi is wearing or using. So I would need to detach all, or go back to basic avi, so i can log in again. But I cannot find way to do this....

Since yesterday I haven't been able to log in to any location at all. Have tried from other computer - just the same. It goes through the full start-up sequence then, pfft, closes down, no error message, just quits. Have tried all usual solutions (clean install, clear cache etc etc). I CAN log in as another avatar so the problem can't be with my computer or software. Very grateful for any help. EDIT: Thanks Echo! .... I must be going daft tthough, I didn't find console window in the advanced menu, either SL viewer or Firestorm! And..... as a normal (not premium) member, I can't find a way to submit help ticket to LL.....
