  1. Last week right before Premium Plus came out, I abandoned a really nice Sakura that I rolled during the region release that ticked all the boxes: wide water on 2 sides, rez zone right there, no close neighbors, cute wall, stunning view of a lagoon with bamboo across the way, etc. The only reason I left was I had other homes that just felt more "right" , not even sure why! I didn't post it here, so a random roller could get a nice surprise Definitely agree with the view that there are often great abandons out there!
  2. I don't think we can ask for homes that don't say "Linden Home" yet, regions that say SSP or SSPE as a name are still being worked on. From listening to the Patch video the homes need to be "available". This is just my guess...
  3. Yes, be sure to state you are Premium Plus and put in the parcel coordinates (be sure the coords are well inside the parcel) and then check your ticket status or email frequently because the Support Desk communicates via ticket. If it is available, you will get an email / ticket update saying your home is all set. When you go there, it will probably still say Linden Home as the name, but your name will be on there as the parcel owner
  4. I put in a request for a Sakura Home, and it was already requested/taken, so did some exploring, found some amazing coastal fantasy homes on the north coast of Sunshiny Day, then went looking at chalets and finally revised the ticket for a chalet on Salto Dellamante with a nice view of the railroad and a train station where you can rez trains, the waterway, and a lot of really pretty landscaping...and got an email that said it was all set! Very easy...
  5. For new regions of Linden Homes, many sit out there "ready" and waiting without actually going into the queue to be assigned, for example in the new Sakura regions many regions are sitting there waiting until the demand catches up and they are needed in the queue. For a new theme, you could go look at regions that are waiting and put in a ticket for a specific house.
  6. I plan to upgrade my main to Premium Plus, because my SL blogging job uses tons of group slots for events and stores. The upgrade is more expensive than I was anticipating, will need to rearrange the entertainment budget and make some cuts to be able to upgrade. Am also a huge fan of the Linden Homes, and am excited about the (future) plans for 2048 / double prim houses.
  7. I am excited about the (future) plans for a 2048 Linden Home, and plan to upgrade to Premium Plus.. just think of the decorating with double prims woot! And maybe bigger yards! The cost is more than I was anticipating, but the ability to have 140 groups is a huge bonus for my SL blogging job that chews up a ton of groups for events and stores. And requesting a specific home for new themes when available is also intriguing, instead of spending a lot of time rolling and abandoning, it could turn out to be time spent exploring new regions and looking for great houses that aren't the obvious #1 choice that others will be requesting...GOH The Support Ticket Edition
  8. About to abandon this interesting Vic on Darcy, water on 2 sides, 2 bridges, and steps! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Darcy/114/190/33 https://gyazo.com/b6644a54fbd89f2fca5b2cbf53940f30
  9. I almost abandoned this parcel because there was no water and the view of the snowy mountain was more like a sideways peek....then I looked more closely at the back yard. Stone steps leading directly from the yard to a secret hidden spring, complete with steam and bathing rocks! I love this Sakura theme, it is full of surprises! The parcel boundary ends just past the Torii gate
  10. Found out that the Newbrooke pavement tiles are a pretty close match for the Sakura tiles...the texture in the pack for pavement is not tiled, and I don't have enough LI left to stick a bunch of squares together lol...but was able to color match fairly closely (materials on, Nans optimal skin and prim). RBG 191, 186, 178 the first row of pavement tiles closest to the mailbox is the Linden one. If someone has already done this with a closer RBG let me know
  11. Disorderly has sushi (sold individually or fatpack) for Sat Sale http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Curemore/98/55/24
  12. Went exploring a bit and found some hot springs with bathing rocks and lanterns Very cool "volcanic water bubbling" sound effects too ! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sugureta Gohan/250/5/55
  13. Am going to leave this Bloodroot Vic with a stunning backyard at 10 am...http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bloodroot/109/168/24
  14. This morning I rolled an inland stilt on Cleaner Wrasse, and wanted to mention that the newer stilt regions have some AMAZING landscaping, the moles are really busting out with some new flowers and really pretty arrangements. The Wrasse house has a park with a picnic table in back and very lush flowers, rocks and trees on all four sides! I wish the new hibiscus flowers were in the content pack @Abnor Mole hint hint Anyway check out the beauty of the mole work! You can see how close the back deck edge is to all the flowers, a perfect spot to relax...
  15. Rolled this very cute west facing boat with its own beach in front! Square parcel, at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hunky Dory/40/95/19 The Barnacle and the Windlass are the two models that face west. Am putting in back in the queue at 8:45 am. Here is pic (note I derendered the front pier)
  16. Releasing this square houseboat in Deep Thought at 5 pm, 200 draw distance to a lighthouse view, and sunset view, backs to greenbelt and trads. There are still some LH boats in Brisbury, hopefully this one will float to the top! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Deep Thought/84/81/27
  17. Brinehaven houseboats by chalets are going, and something new...when I changed boat model, it said something like "the house is setting a timer and will let you know when 30 seconds are up don't touch before then" and then told me when 30 seconds had passed
  18. The houseboat region by the chalets Echo Bay appears to be going...rolled one there lots of Linden Homes
  19. There is a good probability that the must have pool at @Mercedes Avon stunning new house is from her store Neighborly https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Neighborly-Newbrooke-Contemporary-Pool/23379978 , maybe with some fountain additions... I have at least two of her other themed pools, and as soon as I finish this post will make it three lol
  20. For those living in the Newbrooke theme, Atelier Burgundy has made a modern garden set (Pergola, Fence Screens, paving stones, some cinderblock stuff) to match the theme, it is at the Bloom event http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Prism Events/118/126/52
  21. If we are doing future wish lists, (realistic or not lol), I would like new floor plans and wall paints for the trads...and the ability to have two 512 premium parcels on one account, like a modern and a camper I rolled a beautiful 512 Newbrooke overlooking the community center (with views of geese!) but since I am dropping my mainland I let the 512 parcel go.. And am interested to see what Premium Plus will be!!
  22. Rolled two nice Victorians in a row, one in Banebury up high overlooking the railroad and off in the distance the ocean http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Banebury/222/231/594 and the second in Alban Heights has a large private park like back yard, cute driveway, and if you derender enough trees/bushes the back has a view of the river, bridge and island http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Alban Heights/236/180/594 Will release them together at 10 am slt
  23. Looking for a nice, private, quiet houseboat with lots of open water? http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hardtack/57/212/27 End of the row square parcel. Sending it into the queue at 4:30 slt
