  1. The Lindens will have to take down these things soon, they're Near a Major Infohub for God's Sake.
  2. Well when it Affects an entire region, it risks causing problems for the area, which is usually high traffic. Kuula may be high traffic, yes, but it wasn't supposed to handle this.
  3. Since this Morning, Kuula, Uli, Hotei, Dosojin and All Surrounding Sims have been affected by this replicating object Spam. I've Filed Several ARs to LL about this, and so far, this is getting worse. The Objects are Swirled Meshes with a Megaman Texture on them, which is sadly not visible on this picture. The Dosojin Sim Lagged to A Crawl, and Kuula's Following Suit. Discuss.
  4. What it says on the tin, please. EDIT: Please Move to the correct location, I had misplaced the post.
  5. If you don't understand the question, let me Clarify: Why is it that in your FAQ about maturity ratings do you Say: Moderate Second Life's Moderate designation accommodates most of the non-adult activities common in Second Life. Dance clubs, bars, stores and malls, galleries, music venues, beaches, parks, and other spaces for socializing, creating, and learning all support a Moderate designation so long as they do not host publicly promoted adult activities or content and do not use adult search tags. Groups, events and classifieds that relate to this broad range of activities and themes generally should also be designated as Moderate. Residents in these spaces should therefore expect to see a variety of themes and content. Stores that sell a range of content that includes some "sexy" clothing or objects can generally reside in Moderate rather than Adult regions. Dance clubs that feature "burlesque" acts can also generally reside in Moderate regions as long as they don't promote sexual conduct, for instance through pose balls (whether in "backrooms" or more visible spaces). However if any of these businesses uses adult-oriented search tags, the region may be categorized as Adult and blocked from appearing in non-Adult search. Why is it that you say that, and don't clarify that: MINORS CANNOT ACCESS MODERATE PARCELS/REGIONS OR WHATEVER THE HECK YOUR LANDS ARE CALLED. (I'm a Activeworlds Refugee, so please disregard my intelligence on SL.) You should at least say that. I know that only Adults can access Adult Parcels, but what about moderate parcels? where does this come into play? how old do i have to be? 17? that's fine. I can wait until Next July. 18, However, makes no sense. From what i can understand, Moderate rating is the borderline. Shouldn't that be like PG worlds in AW? where there's material that's inapropriate, but can be viewed by minors while under guidance from parents of guardians? It annoys me that i am limited extremely by what i can do here in second life. I left AW because it was dieing. there was little to noone left. I came here to start again, and at least have some fun, meet new people, build, explore, and play. But unfortunately, You Lindens can't make up your mind if Moderate worlds can be viewed by Minors under parental Guidance or not! IT MAKES NO SENSE, it's a poor system, and not that i'm saying that a Virtual world running on Renderware and with No Mac or Linux Support is in anyway better than a VW with a Large database of User-created DLC, Millions of Miles of Land, Advanced Graphics and Physics, and over 100,000 users to date. A MPAA-Based Rating system like AW's: G General PG (Moderate Low) Accessable to minors, Contains violence R- (Moderate) Accessable to minor and Adults, Contains Violence, light drug use NC-17 (Moderate High) Accessable to Adults only, Contains Softcore Sex, Explicit Violence and Drug use X (Adult) Adults only, Hardcore Sex, BDSM, Fetishes, and everything above. Would be a bit better, as it clarifies what they can and CANNOT Access. But still, that's just my $0.02. Anywho, now here's the question for you who are saying: Too Long, Didn't Read: Can 16 or 17 year olds access Moderate Parcels/Lands?
