  5. Oh, thanks! That's a good suggestion, I haven't thought of that! :-)
  6. Hi all, I know this has been asked about in earlier threads, I've read them all, but the usual explanation doesn't seem to work. It's been weeks (possibly months) since I've ejected everyone from my group and been the only member, the group owns no land, and yet it's still there in my group list and I can't do anything to delete it. Basically, how do I get rid of it now? Is this something one should write a ticket to LL about? Thanks, Abi
  7. The tavern is located up in the mountains of the continent of Sansara, between a fast-running river and the mountain heights close to the continent's snowy regions. The land surrounding the Tavern is developed, containing a small chapel, a green market and recreation areas. Almost everything is in an old-fashioned style, medieval and/or rustic. There is direct access to both the waterways - in this area, ideal for rafting - and the mainland road system. The rooms in the tavern are offered unfurnished. The room with 40 prim allowance costs 50 lindens per week, and the 60 prim room - 70 lindens/week. We might be able to provide a fully furnished option, depending on your needs and tastes. You can visit the Tavern and the surrounding Pine Cliffs parcels, on both sides of the Linden road, here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tethys/199/87/90
  8. I think there's no harm in starting the petition and letting LL know how people feel about this. Everything I own is on mainland. I don't find it prohibitively expensive, but I do think there wouldn't be so much undeveloped or abandoned land lying around if the tier fees were more affordable. Lot of people settle with moving into a rental rather than buying and developing their own land. And some of this land is really cheap, under 1L$ per sqm. So I'm guessing it's not the actual land, but the tier fees that prevent more people from buying. I'm sure LL has a good rationale for the current tier fees, but maybe it's time they did a rethink. Anyway, I would support the petition. Who wouldn't want a cut in prices? LOL
  9. Me neither. This is frustrating. :matte-motes-frown:
