  1. Great thank you so much ChinRey, I will remember that
  2. Hi, I am just uploading a simple arch, (mesh.png) which I built in Blender, which I have done many times before, although with different meshes. I would expect with the simple shape and simpler physics I am using for this to be a maximum of 3 or 4 prims, but more likely to be 1. Instead it is 9,000+!! Physics shape in phy2 image, with a double skin to prevent avatar walking through either side of the thick wall. I tried rotating one side and it's the same. see 9,000+ in the edit window when I switch to prim shape in physics. I have found a workaround, which brings it back to 1 LI but it is not the shape I need exactly. Any help appreciated. This image shows the workaround physics shape, which is only 1 prim after upload.
  3. ahhhh !!!! Thank you Hunter and Ron, that control alt shift seems to have worked I have glorious clouds again, thank you so much people
  4. Thank you people, I have firestorm, which I have used for a couple of years, so that has not changed. This is the graphics tab... And this is what I have where the other screen shot you posted was, I don't seem to have the same 'advanced' menu
  5. Thanks for the reply Freya, but I have not changed anything. However I will certainly look into that and see if I can improve what I am seeing. To answer your questions, yes I have tried watching it in various sims and locations, and it's all the same, no clouds. I just use the normal default settings, and the sunset used to look like this.. But now there are no clouds, its just a ball of light in the sky and no clouds around it
  6. I am not a techy person, but the last couple of days the sunset has been really bad, there used to be lots of scudding clouds that raced over the sky as the sun set, and now there is just the sun. I guess this must be some sort of update, but it is not an improvement in my opinion, second life is famous for it's amazing sunset, so I think we should have the clouds back again. And yes, I have checked my graphic settings, nothing has changed, just the amazing sunset dissapeared. Please techy guys and girls, bring it back.
  7. Thank you Rolig, and yes, I certainly am not a scripter, I will try that forum, thanks.
  8. I need a script that can do the above. I have a linked build, of 87 prim LI probably at least 50 objects linked, one part is the sail of the windmill, which is a single object. Another part is the cap of the windmill, which I need to move to wind and carry the rotating sail. Sail rotating y axis Cap rotating to wind z axis Both linked to rest of build. I have already got two seperate scripts and in fact, various versions of both 'rotate prim' and 'turn to wind' scripts. However I cannot use these in a linked build, as when the items are linked. If I put one script into blade and one into cap, then they act independently of each other, and if I put both scripts into the blade, then the blade becomes erratic and not simply confined to the z axis when turning to wind, I'm assuming because it reads the north south rotation and the wind rotation and does both at once, rather than seperating them. I have searched forums, and marketplace, and can only find examples of soft linked items, or scripts that do one thing at a time. http://eowyn.bigpondhosting.com/SecondLife/SecondLife_WindMill_1.html This page seems to say that it is possible to do what I want to do, however, I am not fluent enough with scripting to make use of it. Please if anyone can help IM me in world gwyddion resident, or let me know here. I need script for my amazing windmill creation :D Thank you.
