I use Firestorm and I noticed that if you're blocked, you won't be able to see the person's status (on line or off line) on their profile.

I agree with most of what's been said here...that's it's a carry-over from RL. I also think (if it hasn't been said already) that it's an expected norm to go into a club and see men and women dancing together as well as women dancing together, but not men. Besides, most guys at straight clubs aren't going to IM another guy and ask them to dance. It could get them harassed...even in our enlightened day and age.

The forums are getting kind of dull lately, so I'm going to resurrect something we did a long time go. This is the Five Word Story Game. I think most people have answered this question, but here's my take on it. I'm not a premium member...never have been. I really think it depends on what you want. If you want the house or property, then it's probably worth it. If you're only after the "free" lindens, then you're better off just spending the money and buying them each week.

I think they might be worth it if you've never done any emoting before. If this isn't your first club and you know what you're doing, they're kind of worthless. You can pick up more from listening to other dancers and feeding off the clients...seeing what they like and what they want from you.

That...and the whole last name thing. You'd think they'd figure out how to give people a name other than "resident" by now

Since not as many men appeared to have answered this, I will. I'm on between 3 and 5 times a week. Usually after work...for anywhere from 4 to 6 hours at a time. Meaning, I waste most of my free time here in SL.

I started with female Avatar in 2008. I had found SL through a bondage website that I was very interested in. The owner had an AV in SL and I actually wanted to find her (never did), but got involved in a few things including having Masters and Mistresses and doing everything from sex doll to ponygirl and puppygirl. Long story short, had a few unhappy experiences with a Mistress and decided that I was going to play things in SL the other way. So I created Tex, who was the complete opposite of everything the other one was. My first AV is still around but not doing very much....I've also started 3 more since then...which makes it kind of tough to keep up with. Either that or I have the worst case of Multiple Personality Disorder since Sybil.

Well...I haven't been in the forums for quite some time (thanks to my work putting a webblocker on our server...damn them!!). They certainly have changed. Secret forum crush: There was a girl who used to post in here, and I won't mention any names, who was creative and witty and fun to be around. We met a few times inworld and she helped to spark my creativity and I fell for her...HARD! Turned out that I fell too hard. My (in her opinion) constant random interruptions finally drove her away. It's been a long time, but I still think about her now and then. The first crush in SL is always the toughest.

hello everyone, We are looking for a maid/nanny. This is a NON-SEXUAL position. Duties include: -taking care of Zooby babies (3 at the moment) and young children (1 right now). Either of those numbers could increase. -cooking and serving meals -cleaning/taking care of our home -serving and other duties as required What we are looking for is someone who plays between 19-25 years old, who is willing to do the chores asked of them. There are two other kids in the house (13 and 16) who will not need caring for, but who would interact with the help. Here's another suggestion...get involved. Find a group in SL that strikes your interest, then join it. Once you're in there, just send out a group IM. See if anyone responds...start a conversation. See if they know cool places to hang out. Good luck

Here I was all excited for a great story and instead I get something of political correctness on SL. What a bummer. I am imagine that case being brought to Perry's office....*cue flashback sequence with dreamy music* Della walks slowly from her front office into Perry's back room. She looked uncharacteristically nervous and uncomfortable. "Uh Perry..Paul. There's a guy here who...well..." she stammered Perry looked up from behind his desk and Paul Drake looked up from his stag magazine. "What's the problem Della?" Paul asked, checking out her legs casually. "There's a guy here who says his Gonads are missing..." She said the end part slowly...whispering the last words. "His...Gonads?" Perry replied. Della nodded. "Send him in." Perry said. The little man walked slowly through the office door. They could see from how he was walking that something was wrong. "Sit down, please..." Perry said. The man quickly interrupted. "Uh..I'd rather stand. More comfortable, you see." he said, leaning on the chair. "You said your gonads were missing, is that correct?" Perry said. I don't what people have against noobs. I love them. They're so naive and trusting...and eventually wind up chained to a hook in my playroom. :matte-motes-sunglasses-3: Seriously, some people think noobs just don't know what they're doing. And many clubs won't hire anyone who's under 30 or 60 days old (like they know any better than someone who's been on for a week) Just go out, explore, meet people, make friends and don't worry about that idiot.
