As the title stays, im looking for some help. I'm very interested in the Furry culture. I want someone to guide me into the culture. Help me find my Fursona, show me the Furry part of SL. Most of all, I want to make friends. Been on SL since 2005 Polite, selfless, and slightly eccentric.

I take Secondlife very seriously. I don't take it's residents very seriously though. (Well not most of the time.) But for me, it's an extra source of income. A place to chat with like-minded people. Somewhere I can be anything I want and can explore with 0 repercussions. Since I am most likely going to be here when im 60 and hopefully retired, I'm just being proactive and laying the groundwork now.

Was wondering if it were possible to enable sitting on an object that's attached to an AV? I was looking into making something but im not sure how to go about doing it, or if it's possible. Anyone around with some information or something that can point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Seems were out of luck. I have tried dropping my stable CPU overclock. Switching SLI on and off. Changing numerous 3d settings, overclocking my GPU's etc etc. I can't figure out what it is. I miss exploring the grid. I thought it might be due to my CPU overclock, but when I render freeze, my CPU load doesn't budge. I thought it might be my GPU but I have ran SL on both of them and the problem still remains. I'm at a loss.

Ah okay. Thanks for the info. I guess I should search harder. My terms weren't bringing up much.

So is Linden Labs not very active on cracking down? Is there anything residents can do to prevent this?

I don't know much about the law side of things when it comes to SL. But I have seen a high amount of merchants on SLmarket selling things which are direct copies from other games/software. I don't want to be the guy to point fingers but it gets on my nerves. I keep seeing the (inspired) tag for their products knowing for a fact it was just a rip. What's worse is the buyers leaving reviews commending them on their amazing work, when they had no hand in creating them. This has to be against some type of copyright/infringment. Any opinions/info ?

I'm currently a student for 3D modeling. I would like to apply my skills to Secondlife for my personal learning. I know roughly how LL coding works and what it's limitations are, but I don't know how to write nor do I want to learn how to write scripts. I was wondering if there were scripters out there that are in my same situation. I would like to collaborate and work together to create things. And possibly make some L$ off of it. Okay so, I am currently running a i7 2700K at 4.5 GHZ with 8GB Ram and SLI GTX 670's. Running on 3 24" monitors. It's weird, when I enter a new sim or if someone else enters a sim I either drop to 2 FPS or freeze I will minimize and then maximize again and come back to decent FPS. I have tried running at the following : 5760x1080 full/windowed, and 1920x1080 at full/windowed. I'm at a loss. This happens on both the latest SL and Firestorm viewer.

Yep, nurbs are awesome for curvey geometry. But there is a bit of an alternative called the Lattice tool in maya. I use both but, Lattice can be even faster in some circumstances.
