  1. So, this is something you do for people? If so,are you currently accepting new customers? It sounds like you know what your doing as far as helping people design their avatars and I might need a bit of help with mine too. If your interested, please send me a instant message in world and we can talk details & stuff.
  2. So, the Omega Relay is basically another layer we wear over the Maitreya body so we can apply Omega clothing? Can we wear Maitreya appliers while wearing the Omega Relay? And, if I just decided to skip the Omega kit for Maitreya would I be missing anything?
  3. I'll actually answer your question for you. I think your young female avatar that you posted here looks about 17 years old. She looks a bit too young to be in her early twentys.
  4. OK. I've been here 4 years and never heard of such a thing as a chest add on. Female breasts are includedwith the avatar (unlike certain male parts that need to be add on). There are many skins with cleavage enhancers, lolas. Ohhhh, do you mean appliers for mesh bodies?
  5. Actually, there is another way. The skins that I wear the most often are made by Izzie Button. Izzie makes skin appliers for several different mesh bodies and heads. I went to her store and started inspecting all of her appliers in search for an answer to my question here. I found a skin HUD for sale. The skin HUD has skin appliers for just about every skin tone that she offers in her merchandise. Slink is one of the main mesh avatar she creates appliers for. Maitreya & Catwa are two others I remember. I bought the HUD, wore it, and clicked the applier that matched the skin tone on my avatars head. It was perfect, it was seamless, it is beautiful! Thank you again for your help & I hope this can help anyone else who struggles with this problem like I have. I am not moving on to shapes. Wish me luck I'm sure I'll need it.
  6. Hi. Thank you everyone for all the help you've given me so far. I think hopefully I have one last question. How do I make the skin match on my system avatar head with the mesh body?
  7. I went inworld and found it for you. It's here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Meds/71/62/23
  8. I don't know. I just thought I'd check it out. I have a slink mesh body. I'm not very pleased with it.
  9. There's been a lot of discussion about the fit mesh bodies. I'd like to know if you will please tell me who makes a decent rigid mesh avatar?
  10. It looks like you aer not wearing the alpha layer for your mesh top, or your avatar is bigger now and you need to adjust the body & torso settings in edit your appearence, or perhaps you need to wear a bigger size.
  11. Hi. I bought my Slink Psysique mesh body about one year ago and just recently started to seriously use it. I have found that almost every clothing designer that offeres appliers, offers them in at least 3 or more different applier brands (Slink Psychique, Hourglass, Maitreya....). I'm not saying not to buy the Omega kit, I'm going to buy it as soon as I'm done here, I'm just saying that most designers are finding it more profitable to add appliers for everyone. Thank you for your great answer it really helped me sort out a few issues.
  12. Thanks to yours and everyones advice, I was able to figure out how to use my alpha HUD. Thank you very much for taking your time to help. Have a nice day
  13. The mesh bodies come with a alha HUD that is easy to use so we can wear our old mesh clothing with the mesh bodies. If a person is wearing a really good skin, I can't tell the difference either. Otherwise I think there is quite a difference in the quality in how the bodies look. I can always tell when someone is wearing a mesh head. Almost all of them have a blank stare kind of look to them. I've seen one or two that were really beautiful. To me the rest look strange. Thank you for your reply. I value and appreciate your advice.
  14. Hi. I figured out how to make my mesh clothing show up while wearing my mesh body. That is what my Alpha HUD, that comes with the mesh body software, is for. Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it a lot. Have a nice day.
  15. Hi. I just bought a Slink Phisique mesh body. after figuring out how to wear it with the hands, feet, and skin, I tried to wear my clothing. Over the last 3 years I accumulated a large wardrobe of mesh clothing which does not seem to work on my new mesh body. Do I have to find and purchase new mesh clothing made just for the Slink body? Is there a mesh avatar available that will wear standard mesh items?
  16. I disagree with you here. I would be very upset if I spent the time getting to know a man who I am romantically involved with or planning to be, and found out he was a she. As a female I might be able to see past the gender thing if I really like the person. I'm not sure if I could get past the trust issue though. Most straight men abhor the thought of having sex with another man. They just want to know that you are really a female so they can put that worry behind them and get to know you without the thought or visual you might be some troll in a pretty girls costume. I can't blame them for that. Can you?
  17. The difference is your profile. My avatar is a female human. I am a female human in real life, and my profile has a photo of both my real life me & my avatar. After thinking about it for a while, I decided I wanted a female wolf avatar. I shopped around for a while and bought the best one I could find. It cost quite a bit of money but was well worth it....so I thought. About 5 minutes after changing into my wolf, someone approaches me and addresses me by my human avatars name. I then realize that (assuming) everyone is like me and looks at everyones profile before initiating conversation. My point is that the second they see my profile, I am no longer that wolf, but a female human in a wolfs suit. If I would have created a alt account and profile as the wolf, then I could have truly been the wolf in Secondlife. That was the first and last time I wore my wolf avatar. I know I won't buy another one. I hope this makes sense enough to answer your question. Have a nice day.
  18. I have been playing Secondlife for 3 years and have tried on probably thousands of demos, wasted hundres of hours of my time, and spent countless amounts of Linden on garbage pixels that I never used because there wasn't a demo offered. About a year ago I finally found a look I was satisfied with. I was stubborn and determined. None of the changes I made were drastic but gradual over time. I never buy anything anymore if there isn't a Demo. As far as I can tell, all good designers offer Demos for their items. If they won't offer a Demo it's because it won't look good and they want you to buy it anyway. Overall, it's trial and error. Do an inworld search for clothing, skins, or shapes. Look for the store with the most visitors, get a demo, try it on, delete demo, buy item or not, repeat. I spend a lot of time online at the marketplace too. If you see an avatar that has a look you like, most people don't mind telling you the name or where they bought it if you ask. The Womenstuff group offers a lot of notifications on sales and group gifts from various vendors and has been very helpful as well in finding good clothing & stuff.
  19. I don't know what you consider "gorgeous". So far most of the mesh heads that I've seen are quite creepy looking. I'm not saying they all are, just most of them so far.
  20. Yes there is. I've been completing the surveys for 3 years now. It's at stuffpoints.com. There's a kiosk for it in secondlife.
  21. Try Brii Underground Wear for the clothing: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/products/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search%5Bcategory_id%5D=&search%5Bmaturity_level%5D=GMA&search%5Bkeywords%5D=brii Edelstore hair: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/GIFT-from-EdelStore-woman-hair-Reley-majestic-NEW-female-hair-PROMO-hair-freebie-kostenlos-free-Gift-promohair/1006099 The eyes look similar to my avatar eyes which are here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Sugar-Eyes-Mesh-Fatpack/5703445 I think you'll have struggle through the shape and sking just like the rest of us when we were new.
