Try Glam Affair. They have very good hilights and midtones, detail is there too. Skins are like art or music, people like different styles than each other but a real skin designer who can create skins from the beginning without a template, are rare because they need to be an artist as well as proficient with photoshop, gimp or other software. Sorry to tell you all this and burst a bubble bost most of the skin creators listed in this thread are template users, who modify a template made by a person with more skill, which basically anyone can do with a little photoshop/gimp experience.... There are three types of skins made: 1) Painted 2) Photos 3) A mixture of the above. All are available in template form by somone or other. Lastly you have to remeber the Second Life (mesh) that decides the basic avatar shape is low poly and badly made so while that is used and the graphic limitation of Second Life you are not going to get ultra realistic looking avatars, the lighting system sucks terribly too.
