I have a female body shape and I want to know how to remove it? It will not delete or detach. Plea

I drag something over from my menu to various places in the floor or wall and I get the following message: "Cant REZ object at blah blah blah because owner does not allow it" "Use the land tool to see land ownership" I some places- I am listed as the owner. Other places have Govenor Linden as teh owner. I have try different places in the house and that does not work. Please help. Sincerely Katherine
