I'm doing my best to put together a little rezday surprise for a dear friend, and I'd like to get her five separate 1000 linden gift cards from five separate vendors. I've done a lot of poking around, however, and many of the places she likes to shop don't offer gift cards. I thought I'd see if there are any spots forum users might recommend, as I'd like to get her gift cards so she can shop at her leisure. She especially likes: women's clothing and shoes (especially latex and high fetish)low-prim and mesh items (she's an avid, gifted builder)well-made hair, makeup, and animationsI plan to get her one card from Blacklace and one card from Graves, I think; any other recommendations would be appreciated! :-)

Thank you for the recommendations! I started winding in the right direction after trying a few searches, as my sense of the nomenclature was a little imprecise. I found the petites pretty quickly (which seems to cover avatars about 1/3 of the size of most amazonian people in SL), but I'll definitely give minis and micros a look! Thanks again!

This is sort of a hybrid question, but I thought I'd start on the avatar side. Where might one find humanoid (read: non-furry) avatars in SL? I've read all sort of interesting articles on the design of such avies, but I haven't been able to come across the avies themselves. In perhaps my third week on Second Life I encounted a doll-sized guy ( just a little taller than the heels I was wearing), so I know they're tucked away somewhere. I'm trying to persuade a friend so sign on to SL, and a robust tiny community might be just the bait I need. :-) Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've been roaming around Second Life for just over a year now, and I think it may be time for me to settle in a bit. I've been looking in to a few small rental parcels, and I may need a little help to turn the corner into full-blown rental residency. :matte-motes-smitten: I think I've found a nice parcel in a slighlty naughty principality, but I'm not entirely sure how to look for good residential fits. I'd welcome any recommendations if there are any low-traffic, kink-friendly sims with rental parcels that I've missed. If I do go with the place I've discovered, I'll then have the challenge of putting up a sim-appropriate house. The lot in question is 32X32 (1024m), and it offers about 450 prims for the renter to work with for $900 lindens/week. That seems like a reasonable ballpark for me. I'd accordingly like to find a prefab home (perhaps a Victorian or something with realistic, detailed decor that would fit into the fringes of the sim, a small, suburban town) that runs under 200 prims; I can afford to go hog-wild if I like, so I won't put an upper limit on the price. One of my new neighbors has October Rust's "Lenore," which fits right in. Thanks for any recommendations or advice you're willing to offer!
