  1. Believe it or not I actually have some sympathy with how you are feeling, I have been in a similar place before on this forum and I learned a valuable lesson. I hope you see it and that it doesn't cost you to much in the way of legal fees to realize this. As for abusive IMO nobody has crossed that line here, I for one asked you on the first page to give it up and 22 pages later you have finally seen fit to end it. While it was entertaining at times and I am sure you enjoyed getting your licks in as much as the rest of us and your own derogatory comments, it is time to end it and say see you next time because that's just the whole point. There will be a next time and a time after that. There is no end of the world in sight. Have a great day
  2. Anyone seen something like this in mesh?, or otherwise. Would be nice to match the colours, however variations could be fun as well.
  3. The maker of the video has taken deaths of astronomers that are unconnected, mostly older men that died in various ways over a long time period, the first death I can see occurred in the late 90s. He has somehow strung them together to form a conspiracy. A conspiracy of what?... How many nuclear physicists die every year? How many agricultural scientists die every year? Aeronautical engineers? So what exactly does it prove anyway? And died from everything from artery failure to a normal car accident, that's in your video. The last statement reads that they all died together. Wrong, they died years and continents apart. And where does this leave us? Lets say for a moment that you are absolutely right and that we are all going to be dead in a few months time. What do you propose that we do? Stop paying the bills? Because of a youtube video? Commit suicide? Go and stock up on oxygen and canned food? Ferment a revolution? get the russians to nuke the hell out of the USA? becuase a few astronemers died? becuase of a website and youtube video? GET REAL You have ignored my well thought out response and responded in a theatrical fashion with an over dramatic Hollywood style video that actually says nothing and proves yet again that you are full of **** Word of advice, life is largely a series of unconnected events that form a whole, trying to read into patterns too much is likely to have people questioning your sanity as they are in both threads. There is no silver bullet and you cannot bend metal with mind power. The chosen one is a figment of Hollywood's imagination. This is not the matrix and superman fell off his horse and died...Want more?

Boudicca Littlebird wrote: This object is moving at about the same speed, the last I heard from an astronomer at the south pole was it is moving at a speed of about 30,000 MPH, so has taken years, it is said to be in orbit of the sun with a period of about 3500 years, tree ring data shows that it last passed in 1500 BC, and the affects lasted about 7 years, all empires were destroyed during this period, all trees stopped growing during that time most died out. If as you say there is an object moving near earths orbit of the sun the kepler effect would push that body outwards, due to its mass, long before it could effect anything on Earth. Its a basic rule of planetary physics and you should look it up before you spout other peoples utter rubbish here oops should have said it can only be seen from the south pole, also over 20 astronomers from the south pole have died in accidents since it was spotted, well all the top ones that were looking for it. I have searched extensively, and even on conspiracy websites the number is acknowledged as 3 scientists dead since 2000. 1 in Colorado in a canoeing accident, 1 in a industrial accident involving a lathe and long hair in NY and the third of old age in Germany. Only the German was involved in astronomy. In summation, you are are troll, a funny one, but none the less a troll, and you should prepare your arguments better if you are to be considered successful in your trolling, Good entertainment value that's all this thread is. No doubt you will reply with more outrageous claims and exaggerations, bundled in a way that makes you appear intellectual or somehow gifted in your knowledge. The world is the world, it will be here in a recognizable form long after you and I are dead, there will be no alien invasions, there will be no true global disasters, there will be no nuclear holocaust, just more of this endlessly plodding day to day existence for 99.999% of us until we die. Just remember one thing, in life, ultimately the race is against yourself and with threads like this one, you are only putting more obstacles in your way and spending your valuable time proving them wrong with your own words. Good luck, cuase I think you're gonna need it.

  6. Elite Runner wrote: OK. It has been since the Equinox and it's now October 1, 2012 and this is NONSENSE. The equinox was 9-10 days ago and nothing has happened. Duh! December 21, 2012 will be just a December Solstice, according to NASA via http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/maya-world-end.html, citing " There is simply no scientific evidence to support any claims of an apocalypse on Earth in December 2012." It is impossible to have a polar shift nor a planetary allignment, so STOP BELIEVING THE MAYANS and STOP BELIEVING THE WORLD WILL END! I have also brought to attention that October 21, 2012, there supposed to be a rapture, and also on October 7, 2012. They're just false prohipies. There is no specific time and date when the Rapture will occur, and calculations to the specific date of rapture is useless. We seen that Harold Camping predicted the rapture in 2011 and nothing happened. October 7 and 21 will be just normal days. It's NOT WHEN the Lord predicted The End, it's IF OR WHAT. ^^ This ......Today could be the last day of your life, the end of the world happens to hundreds of people every day....its called dying
  7. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/asteroids/news/asteroid20121105.html Note a single line here please This flyby was the closest Earth approach by this asteroid for at least the next 200 years.
  8. I have had the displeasure of witnessing these attacks first hand and yes they are very explicit. Unfortunately LL is undermanned, I think, the more people report on an event the more attention it will receive. Get more people to file ARs at the same time and place and perhaps you will have a better response.
  9. You want people through your sim and people to enjoy your work well believe me you are not alone. The core problem is a function of marketing, you need to create a product that people want. Here is a for instance. Do an inworld search for star wars. Go and look at the many sims and beautiful builds that are mostly empty and think why is this happening. Its happening because of Star Wars: The Old Republic people have moved on and except for a few die hards it will stay that way. If you want your project to succeed you need to get up and go get them. Dress yourself up and go to a few chat sims or hubs, show off your skills, make friends, be active, take out ads in the classifieds, uses the feeds. There has to be a drive behind it for it to succeed good luck Donny :smileyhappy:
  10. SLtesterL2 wrote: Plus SL does have a pretty bad rep because of the people on the grid choose to perform sexual acts. I know SL can be incredible it has potential but linden lab needs to take action. To attribute SL's supposed (in your mind) demise to sexuality is deluded, in fact without the ability to bump pixels SL would indeed die. SL's reputation doesn't stop it being a viable economy, a place were friends hang out, a place where live music can be enjoyed and so much more. Your attitude is reminiscent of certain middle eastern countries, where sex is viewed with guilt and is seen as something 'evil' or disgusting. You can't stop it, LL can't stop it, furthermore if it was stopped people would move to other grids and platforms. Really its the equivalent of wanting to stop WoW because its violent, its a ridiculous attitude and certainly wont win you friends.
  11. Limonella Sorbet wrote: I'd also love to see shorter nails for once! I'm not into claws. Yes, nails that are about half an inch (12 - 15mm) long would be ideal. I have found one set that fits perfectly when combined with another creator's tattoo layer, but they are too long. Colours, I like metallic primarys, softer hues and basic solids, depends on the overall look. Also a working French manicure would be lovely.
  12. SLtesterL2 wrote: it is kinda dying well, limbo. its just that most players are die hard fans. only like 40k average log on. Perhaps, I can only tell from my own perspective. One thing I am seeing lately is a sizable percentage of brand new people who stay on and are enjoying themselves. Other platforms that are similar (IMVU doesn't count IMO, its different and limited) have dismal numbers, only 400 a day for some open grids.

  14. I have a friend who pays for 15 full regions all interlinked, now do the math and you start to realise just how passionate she is about Second Life. That's one of the reasons why I just laugh when people tell me that SL is dead or dying.
  15. Depends on the viewer but, there should be a button on the bottom bar that looks like a magnifying glass, that's the search button, click it and type in what you want, "hair", "shoes" etc and click search. :smileyhappy:
  16. Thank you Tex *smiles happily
  17. Demo means that it will have the word "DEMO" printed on it, its not cool. However if you are looking for free stuff on marketplace It is possible to find clothes for free, however it may take you some time to find them, they are hidden in amongst the 'demos" Usually these items are group gifts at stores. Another way would be to find something you really like on marketplace and visit the store inworld, most stores have group gifts. I would also recommend watching the 'how to' videos in the support sections to learn about unpacking boxes and wearing items. You could also do this inworld at the various new resident areas. Have fun :smileyhappy: P.S. If there is one shop I highly recommend you visit it's Sweet Faces, you can choose from any hairstyle in the shop for free if you are under 30 days old
  18. Have a look at this website, click on the map links with your viewer open and a teleport prompt should appear, This is a list of free goodies for all new residents for males and females. Some of what is offered is very high quality at some of the best shops in SL. http://fabfree.wordpress.com/fabfree-30-days-list/ Have fun :catvery-happy:
  19. What are you offering in return for your slice of the Lindens? Do you have a sim that offers privacy? What benefits would the prospective female enjoy by joining your group? What is your policy on verification? What is different about your offering? How is it better than the abundant free sex sims that are already operating in SL? If and when a female answers yes to your post, how do you plan to proceed from there?
  20. A few weeks ago I got sent a link in an unsolicited IM on a general sim, the link was to this guys msn account, his request went something like, "Come watch me *bleep* off baby. You know you'll dig it" I soooo wanted to post it in local chat, guess I'm too polite

Context Phil If I showed you it you would understand, In my case it was good advice. Besides the only people who 'need to know' are my partner and close friends, certainly don't want someone taking my pic and using it for whatever reason without my permission either. Like I said, its a completely personal choice, that's the advice I would give if anyone should ask me.
