  1. That would seem a bit redundant then, would it not ? I mean, Why have a nestled folder called "Friends" inside of a main folder called "Calling Cards", where I'd assume (logically speaking of course) that any "active" friend (meaning currently on the friend list) would be listed inside the "Friend" folder, and anyone you've either received a calling card for, or was removed from your Friend list would also be removed from the "Friends" folder, but not the main "Calling Cards" folder. The "All" folder nestled inside "Friends" just does not make any sense to me at all. Almost like complicating something that should be simple in the first place. I really don't see the logic in the "All" folder being there.. at least not nestled inside the "Friends" folder. If I knew if it was safe to delete that folder and just use the other 2, then I'd do it. I just don't know if it is or not.
  2. Hello, I require a bit of assistance to clarify the Calling Cards folder(s) for me. I have a screenshot I have taken to clarify what I mean, but as it stands, this is the current folder structure: Calling Cards -> Friends -> All. https://gyazo.com/535bcfded5c7ab7eabcf87e2a483b937 Each is nestled in that order, and each has cards, with hundreds of duplicates and triplicates depending on which folder they are in. My questions here are - What is the difference between the "All" folder inside "friends" and the main "Calling Cards" folder ? Can I delete that "All" folder if it's just the same function as the main Calling Cards folder. (I'd assume the main Calling Cards would be for all cards anyway, and my friends would be the nestled folder already there. ). And do calling cards for friends need to be in the main Calling Cards folder AND the Friends folder, or can I simply keep my friends' cards in the Friends folder and delete the duplicates from the Main Calling Cards folder ? Sorry for the long-winded post, but this is something that been puzzling me for sometime and I am finally get around to asking about it ( well more like I'm old and forgetful and finally acting on it while it's in my head lol). Thank you in advance for the help
  3. I have and use one of the Nitro Series from Acer. Graphics are set to Very high, and I generally have no issues.
  4. I have been looking at houses all week in preparation to getting the premium membership, and even last night I could see the Victorian homes. This morning i was making my final decision and ended up choosing Victorian, but when I went to the page just now to make sure the house style I wanted was there, I noticed both Victorian and House Boats are no longer on the page as options.. Are they gone now ?? Like seriously annoyed if they are gone, because it means I am not buying premium then if I can't get the home I wanted...
  5. That already happened at Paypal in August, and it was a disaster, Because tens of thousands of people complained, who did not have a cell phone, and could not access their private account information as a result. Paypal reversed this after 3 weeks of being inundated with calls and posts on their forums... There needs to be alternatives to account for people who do not have cell phone, or iPads, or use "apps", which is a lot more people, than anyone realizes. And I am part of that crowd. Really getting annoyed with the MFA system being implemented and companies never taking people like myself into account. IF i could afford a phone or these so-called "apps", Then I would gladly do so. I cannot. So what happens to those of us in the same boat when MFA becomes mandatory ? Just one more thing that is leaving a bad taste lately from LL. Maybe they should be "fixing" things first like group chats, and so on, before they start to implement these idiotic processes....🤔
  6. Ever since the move to the cloud, things inworld have gotten worse. I've experienced loading issues constantly and consistently. so has just about everyone I know. Group chat still doesn't work. Profile issues, constant MP issues, grid status seems to have more and more issues compared to say, a year ago or even two years ago. And yet... this somehow justifies an increase in fees for buying lindens ? Here is a suggestion.. try fixing things first, give everyone a bit of stability, where things are actually working again, and THEN you can talk about justifying increases in fees, like this one...😡
  7. ummm that made no sense at all to be honest. and it has nothing to do with my original post which was, if anyone actually read, directly reference Lucia's post,, which has not yet been answered. in reading comments, i am a bit discouraged that not one comment made was factual or reflective of my comments. i'd like someone official to respond to it and Lucia's post please and thank you. otherwise what is the point of posting something looking for answers, and getting none in return other than having people react and comment instead of reading and thinking.
  8. Personally, I would love to see an answer to Lucia's question, Especially with how this would impact people being forced to accept a new ToS from a company that may or may be trustworthy. I would also like to know what happens if I use my Paypal account as i have for years now, and refuse this new ToS. will I be refused access to SL ? be prevented from buying L$ so i can spend on creators in SL ? I do not and will not accept a ToS especially one who may be mired in legal issues like the one Lucia mentioned. But I will not accept that should I refuse this ToS, that my SL will be severely impacted. You people should have a Grandfather Clause for existing accounts to be exempt, and only new accounts be subjected to the ToS. This would be the right thing to do here.
  9. another friend of mine volunteered to be a guinea p....i mean model for my practiced attempts at lighting. hope you like.

  11. first time i've had a chance to post here in the last few weeks, i need to catch up on like 30 pages of likes now lol. anyway, i found these awesome earrings, i mean, like, the coolest earrings ever for a nerd mom like me, so i had to do the right thing, and dress outrageouly just to match them 😜 and then i found a diner with this movie poster which i found totally sarcastically appropriate all this for a pair of earrings lol
  12. IF Tilia impacts ONLY members with USD in their account, or who process credits from SL into their RL accounts, and IF those of us who are not impacted by Tilia in any way refuse to accept the Tilia terms come August 1rst, then will we be prevented from accessing SL ? because the way i see it, it has nothing to do with me, and it never will either, and as you mentioned, it is only a subsidiary of LL / SL, therefore should not impact SL directly to prevent logging in and enjoying my friends and my second life here. it would be a direct conflict of interest by denying access to anyone refusing the terms of Tilia, unless they use the service itse;f directly. i am telling you now, i am planning not to accept the terms of Tilia on August 1rst, so i am hoping my second life will not be impacted by this. i look forward to your answer, LL thank you
  13. i'm a bit confused about this still. after reading some of the FAQ's ( https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/439384-tilia-takes-over/page/7/?tab=comments#comment-1929793 ) i am confused still about the Tilia Terms thingy. this is me. so i will never use this Tilia thing, nor will it apply to me by any means, but why do i need to still accept Tilia's terms, even though i will never use it, not will this ever apply to me at all ? is this basically saying that we're being forced to accept something even though it is not applicable, in order to keep using SL at all ? because if so, i can see people leaving as a result of this, and this would hurt SL in the long run. also, by being forced to accept these new terms means an automatically created Tilia account for each SL member. 1. how do we know, that we will not be charged any fees after 12 months of inactivity, especially since, like myself, i won't ever use this, meaning my Tilia account will be inactive for that duration ? 2. i don't think being forced to accept terms for something that some of us will ever use, and then also being forced to accept this new Tilia account creation is right. this Tilia account should be applicable to anyone who does process credits, as you mention in the blog post, and not to others who will have nothing to do with this since we only buy lindens or pay land tiers so why force everyone and more importantly, do we have an option to opt out of Tilia ?

  19. they honestly should leave the basic perks untouched, there is no need at all to punish basic members in this way. as for the premium perks, they really should rethink this completely. people do not need 80 groups, but, with that said, i - would- find a way to find the money to afford a premium member if they: 1. get rid of the perk that give preferential treatment by allowing premiums to get into full sims. as i said before, it is discrimination, not a perk. 2. change the weekly stipend to 1500L a week from 300L a week 3. give premium members a 30m x 30m lot with a choice of houses on mainland with 1000 allotted prims 4. 60 groups and 60 attachment points 5. 10% discount to any purchases made inworld and on marketplace (like many other places do.. look at playstation plus for example) 6. reduce land costs by 20% compared to now yes i know i am dreaming big, but when you look at this, it's way better that what they're offering now, and this would be the only way i would even consider getting "enticed" to buy premium
  20. I understand the need to create "perks" to entice basic member to upgrade to premium, or new member to join as premium members, but there is a different between "enticing" and "forcing", and right now, this crosses that line for me. it was bad enough to add a perk that "discriminates" by allowing premium members to get into full sims ahead of basic members (seriously, it's the same thing as like gong to a popular club or restaurant "hey you have money, come on in" and "oh you don't have money, go to the back of the line and wait"). but now, they're reducing the basic perks and really upping the premium ones, which makes absolutely no sense. and it is such a large differential now, it also goes beyond acceptable limits. if they think they're going to "entice me" though, they are wrong,. it's having the opposite effect, as i refuse to buy premium now. and from the chat in some groups i shared the link on the changes, it seems i am not the only one either... Good work LL, on alienating your customers..
