  4. EVENT TIME: Thursday, June 5th @ 6pm SLT LOCATION: Velcro Heart, http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Naughty/98/219/1156 Do you loathe Top 40? Crave interesting music, a chance to hear something you haven't before? Are you interested in hearing what a DJ has in store more than making requests? Do you relish the weird, random, and occasionally controversial? Come on over to +Velcro Heart+, a gathering of music lovers and weirdos in our chill hangout. Fuschia, Black Tara and Jocelyn Esharham will be spinning whatever the hell they like on the stream. Come join the mayhem. Let's see what craziness ensues!
  5. Because in the end, the Terms of Service are there primarily to protect Linden Labs moreso than residents. That may sound harsh, but they are hardly in the business(nor should they be) of arbitrating silly disputes like an IM'd conversation. Sim owners have absolute control over who can and cannot enter their sim, whether they've done anything to earn a ban or not- and that is how it should be. The last thing we'd want is LL reprimanding the people who pay tier and keep the grid alive for a stupid dispute over who ran into who before rezzing. That line in the ToS exists as a guide rule by which they can arbitrate if they choose, and that would likely only be in the case where other items in the ToS were violated or if legal action was threatened(and likely to be legitimate).

  7. I am experiencing the same, in both the Firestorm and Linden viewers, regardless of the region I try to log in to. As this is the day they do rolling restarts every week, I'd say we need to just give it a little time. Nothing's showing on the status report blog other than that.

  13. Thank you thank you thank you, all. Not super stoked about that phenomenon but at least I have somewhere to start(and didn't get too far into my latest project before I discovered it). Thanks again!
  14. Hi there everyone, I'm shooting in Firestorm, on a custom windlight on ultra, shadows enabled, all the fun perks except depth of field. Saving in PNG with a custom size of 3000x2254. The finished product in photoshop seems to be broken up into tiles that are about 1280x1280, roughly- and there are VERY visible seams that don't line up correctly. They're only a pixel or two off, but the seams themselves have a very 'tile' like quality, they're a bit rough and about a pixel wide. Is anyone familiar with this phenomenon? The photo functions allow you to shoot at twice that size and I like to shoot big for effects in post. I'll be bummed if I have to go down to a more standard size, but I'll deal. Unless there's a way to fix it. Anyone?
