And by we, I think of the older residents who are used to point out that they've been here for many years, have seen and bought all and "who are you to tell me anything" attitude. In 2 years that i've spent here, what I saw is that vampire families are doing the biggest job. They accept all new residents, give them home, stuff to do, make them feel welcomed, teach them and they really need and appreciate every resident (soul lol) they get to look after. So forming some type of communities like they have would be a good start. I've already been accused of being someone's alt, just based off of an opinion I had. rofl
  2. I found a place that hires writers and pays them Linden Dollars now.
  3. And getting a job isn't a good enough answer(I'm sure some people cannot get jobs due to disabiliy reasons, and etc) I've done fishing so far, and that takes ages to even earn about 100L or so. Is there any legit way to earn or get Linden Dollars? Also, a job isn't enough either IMO as a lot of said

I've talked to a friend on SL who had their life threatend and LL didn't do anything about it. They even made an AR or two and included a detailed report. I'm guessing if someone threatens to harm me IRL on SL I better just consider it a residential dispute!
  5. I want to be able to login again, but you sure are taking your sweet time with that. :/ Calling them didn't help either, at all. Tried to say some place called CrossWorlds is doing a chargeback on my paypal. I never even used it at all, and have told them this.I found out who did do it, and the person paid me back already. >_> Sooo sooo soo sick of waiting for LL and this CrossWorlds place to respond. -__-
  6. y u no let me login LL?! My gripe of the day is how horrible Linden Lab Support is. I've tried contacting them and they yet to reply.
  7. Yeah, it must be an hour or so away. Because isn't it like 9am in SLT?
  8. That seems to be the issue. They put me block, and I tried to cancel down to basic membership again...
  9. http://i.imgur.com/QKrUU.jpg is the picture. You can make it bigger by clicking on it. What do I do?
  10. Nope, you can own LAND without a paid membership.
  11. I'm highly doubting it, but do any of you know places where sim owning is semi-cheap..??
  12. Maybe not make us buy lindens for good quality items? LOL kidding. It's easy to buy your own linden dollars
  13. Venus Petrov wrote: I am not surprised that the process has changed. It saves money to put the burden (honesty) on the user to verify their age. It is no different from adult sites on the interwebs. I also agree that parents need to be responsible for what their kids do (films, games, books even). I was not allowed to read Kipling's Kim at a young age because my Dad thought I was not mature enough to handle some of it. It sat in our bookshelf until I could read it. Kids have their lives easy nowadays in this generation. I wasn't even allowed to have a computer until I was about 16 or 17.
  14. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7980 is the URL for debate. I have made it clear that LL needs to make the requirements harsh so they choose the right people this time. I really want this system back, because it COULD BE alot more helpful than NCI and those groups. Most of those helpers don't even do their job properly, or at all. Would there even be concern with re-adding it?
  15. I am just curious. Is something you do in a group chat / IM with other residents such as trolling, harassing, or anything for example a resident to resident dispute? Anyone can IM you and start calling you names, but I think if they do it's considered an issue between that person and the offender.
  16. I'm kind of an anime fan also. IM me in world if you want to talk about some.
  17. Griffin Ceawlin wrote: Doubtful. I think most "land owners grid wide" would ignore the person (who would have wasted an awful lot of time; there are 22,866 private regions and 7,112 Linden-owned ones). On the other hand, a lot of people might not like the sort of people who go around calling people "sex fiends" on their land. There was a reason this person was called a sex fiend. They were called it for being annoying and pushy toward the female avis.
  18. And no, I'm not talking to the user about it either. They refuse to be reasonable, and I want an opinion. I was told this by a person on SL just for calling someone out for being a sex fiend. "i will get ahold of all the land owners grid wide and tell them about this drama and they will not allow u on there land as well" end quote. Can people -really- do this, or is this unjust?
  19. Why do people put this on their profile? It isn't like it makes them any better even if they do save their chatlogs. 1 out of every 10 profiles I believe have this comment added in their bio.
  20. I've won Lucky Chair prizes and some Lindens at contests on contest boards from clubs that don't rig the poll.

Dana Hickman wrote: Hilarious! :smileytongue: Usually when the ding-a-ling chicks ask me to dance or go home with them, I just play dumb and ask them "why?" or "what for?".. puts them on the spot and makes them have to spell out the specifics of their intentions right from the start. They friggin HATE that lmao. I do this all the time, and always have before finding SL. LOL. People friggin' hate being told no.
  22. http://www.adultswim.com/shows/toonami/index.html :) IT'S BACK! ALL OF US 90'S KIDS CAN NOW BE HAPPY. :D
