[Exporting meshes]

Hi,

Fairly new to second life, but I was wondering if somebody can direct me to a tutorial on exporting the avatar mesh for use in Maya.  I'm interested in building some hair styles for use in second life using Maya and I'd like to at least have the avatar head to work as a base.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

[Skin painting tutorials.]

Hello all.  I'm new to Second Life and I've been wanting to create my own skins from scratch.  I was waondering if anybody can direct me to some tutorials on the subject.  I've tried searching google and youtube.  But I have only been able to find videos about clothing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
