well bro, i understand what ur talking about, i thought about that idea like you, but its the truth. ATI will never be as good as Nvidia, so i will decide to buy a new one and sell my old one. Do whatever u like i dont want to prescribe u what to do, so pls dont missunderstand me. Ah well the idea to switch do windows basic theme was a great idea, i t helped me a lot Didnt thought that there would be another chance to play without switching the desktop the whole time. Ich habs anders gemacht. Ich habe noch eine Onboardkarte eine ATI readon HD 45X0. Ich hab das ganze mal über die Laufen lassen und nun gehts. Sobald ich also SL spielen will muss ich auf den Bildschirm schalten der mit meiner onboard karte verbunden ist. Daher an alle die das gleich Problem haben, seid vernünftig und legt euch eine Nvidia karte zu, die haben fast nie Probleme, oder falls ihr das nicht wollt schaut ob ihr noch ne onboard karte habt, meistens kann man an die neuen bildschirme beide grafikkarten gleichzeitig anschließen, ihr müsst dann halt immer je nach spiel auf die jeweilige karte umschalten. Kurz gesagt es liegt wie es zu erwarten war an ATI! Werde mein geld also nun in eine Nvida karte investieren.

ok guys, the problem is more or less easy .... its ATI and his graphic cards .... on my motherboard i got a onboard graphic card, so i decided to try using this one for SL and see, everything works fine (its an readon hd 45X0). so if i wanna play SL ive got to change to the screen which is connected with my onboard card.

yeah we´re using the same router, but cant remember he has more ports open then me, ut well if u could tell me which ports SL need i´ll open them. yep i know she´s new, but new doesnt mean that everything works fine or working best .

i alredy updated my drivers, im on 12.3 for the readon hd 6800 and my bro got the same internet connection liuke me, we´re living in the same house

Hey guys, I rly hope somebody here can help me (in German forum nobody seems to be intrested in helping me). My Problem: I installed the game and started the viewer, but everything i get is just a white window and after pressing "Tabulator" twice times it goes black. Im wondering about that becuz if i move with the cursor all over the window i see that it changes his icon. I.e. the cursor changes from a normal arrow to a hand, so it shows me im on a button. Seems like everything works fine, but it cant display anything of it. I tried to instal the game on the pc of my Bro, and see ... there it works, and everything is fine, but not on my pc. I tried all 3 different viewers, and everywhere the same problem. My pc is quite good and provides the requirements. Just 1 time i got it working with the firestormviewer but then i couldnt press a button or write my nick into the loginbox. Maybe its my Graphiccard becuz my Bro got a old Nvidia and i have a quite new ATI. I got a similar problem with the game oblivion. Hope u understand my problem and can help me, its getting on my nerves. Best regards Checkthis0ut

Bin schonmal einen Schritt weiter und zwar habe ich bei meinem Bruder dasselbe einfahc mal installiert und siehe da, es funktioniert einwandfrei. Er hat allerdings einen etwas langsameren Rechner mit einer etwas älteren Nvidia Karte drin. Ich dagegen einen recht neuen Rechner mit einer ATI Karte drin. Ich schätze mal dass das Problem bei der Graka liegt, denn genau dasselbe Problem hatte ich damals mit dem Spiel Obllivion. Kennt vielleicht jmd eine Lösung dafür, die nicht besagt dass ich eine andere Karte reinamchen soll oder aam anderen Rechner spielen soll? EDIT: Habe nochwas herausgefunden, anscheinend wird es nur nicht grafisch dargstellt. D.h.: wenn ich mit der Maus über die Fläche gehe, dann ändert sich der Cursor, z.B. wenn es vorher ein Pfeil ist wird er zur Hand, das zeigt dass dor ein button ist. irgendwie scheint es also vorhanden zu sein und zu funktionieren, kann aber nicht dargestellt werden. Wäre sehr nett wenn ihr mir weiterhelfen könntet, so langsam glaube ich näcmlich dass das hier keiner mehr list -.- MfG Check this 0ut

Kann doch nicht sein, dass nur ich dieses Problem habe und nur ich nicht spielen kann ...

1. Firewall auch mal probehalber ausgehabt, dennoch keine veränderung 2. aktuellen treiber bereits geladen und installiert 3. Ich habe den SL viewer und den Firestorm viewer ausprobiert beide dasselbe problem und keinerlei Fehlermeldung

Hi Leute, Ich habe ein verdammt großes Problem und zwar geht es darum dass ich das Spiel nichtmal starten kann ... Nach langer Zeit wollte ich mal wieder anfangen SL zu spielen doch nachdem ich es installiert hatte war ich schon wieder genervt. Ich starte das Spiel, lasse die Internetverbindungen zu und was passiert? ... Genau nichts ... ledeglich ein Fenster erscheint (Glaube dass dies der Loginbereich sein SOLLTE) welches total weiß und nach dem erneutem Aufrufen durch das "taben" schwarz ist/wird. Ich sehe einfach gar nichts, d.h. ich kann mich nichtmal einloggen. Bitte helft mir bin so langsam schon am Ende meiner Nerven .. -.- Ach übrigens ich habe Google schon durchforstet aber entweder wird genau dieses Problem nicht beantwortet oder es sind die falschen Fehler (z.B. schwarzes Bild NACH dem login). Mein Pc schafft die Anforderungen, habe kompatibilitätsmodus ausprobiert, und bereits andere Viewer ausprobiert, aber nichts hilft bis jetzt. MfG Checkthis0ut
