An awful lot of this sounds like sour grapes to me lol, "I payed for my land etc, why shouldnt you". Ya get squatters in RL and ya get squatters here lol. I hasten to add that I have not built or used (or abused) ABANDONED LAND, but if ya can get away with it, go for it I say.

I bought an item yesterday, impossible to contact as his account does not appear to be active, why are people allowed to sell if they do not have an account. I suppose the annoying thing is that the owner`s name is clickable, but when you do have to click it to message them, you cannot get any further. The name is Jowboy Alex "Well, if they no really longer have an account - for example if they are permenantly banned - they are no longer able to get the money paid for the items, either. What you pay just 'goes away', the same as when you pay LL an upload fee for uploading a texture or an animation. No one gets the L$ that were paid." Thank you for your reply Keera, but "What you pay just goes away" is not acceptable lol, the money that was paid must be somewhere and it should be returned to the avatar.
