  1. Except the Lelutka ones are heaps better and i have 2 Catwa ones and don't use them anymore after buying a Lelutka one with its free mesh eyes and bulk load of animations and expressions you pay extra for at Catwa as addons after forking out 20 bucks for a head..
  2. I have been doing it as I go since forever. Anything that's a demo or a duplicate in multiples I type in and delete the lot save a few for safekeeping in the original delivery box. Particularly things I disasemble in world come back in hundreds. I have always deleted instantly and don't load the SL library in my inventory. I'm at 31,000 items after 8 years of consistent use. I also box things too occasionally. The main thing is trying not to log out before culling the junk first in recent items. truth be known most old things are too crappy to keep except for amusement value and get deleted anyway if they suck too much or are fashion tragedies. what I find easy is this because I cant remember everything is symbols for categories that show up easily ==(folder name) > Mesh body from designer + appliers + HUDS ==(folder> Mesh heads > designer + appliers with delivery box and appliers + HUDS ** (Folder)HAIR > DESIGNER >DESIGNER >DESIGNER &&&(folder) animations Poses in modelling stand called model and pose another called !WAR for guns etc It lets me find necessities really fast.
  3. That would put you about a Megaprim short of a teleport but still an ambient occlusion above a Windlight sculpty.
  4. The number pad on the keyboard and the other buttons. I don't like the silly little Bluetooth one. I had one on my first 2009 iMac and put it in the desk drawer about a week later and bought a useful one.
  5. Lol your own one, that one looks like it could be for the internet to the SL main grid.

  7. The solution for idiots- Step 1- https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/gKill-Combat-System/2378099 Step 2- Use it. Step 3- Enjoy the show. Step 4 - Block if required. Step 5- Relax..
  8. If they had to eat SL diet industry would take off soon after with fat blaster scripts and HUD attachments for sale in the MP. There would be a boom in Facebook too with everyone sharing thier meal pictures. My Vegan avatar would have to search all over to find something to eat as usual because all the food in most places contains factory farmed furries. Chardy would have to struggle with the ethics of eating free range breedables too.
  9. Regarding what is value for money.. Buying Junk food, Beer and cigarettes or a cafe meal, gambling or other junk lasts a day and you get through $20 in a flash and its gone. If spend $20 in SL and you have it for years and can use it every day and can have weeks shopping with it and end up with a nice avatar you are happy with or nice home/car/etc. If you enjoy SL and weigh up the long term value for money an activity gives you SL actually works out VERY cheap entertainment for the amount of time spent doing it if you only shop a bit and chat or build.
  10. Thanks I was playing around with Windlight settings for boredom relief and it went all blue.
  11. Voice was a bit of a fad and it largely went back the same for me to typing and occasionally I hear some on voice these days. Erarly days were funny as there wasn't as much policing of behaviour and it was a free for all.
  12. That must have been it or I didn't have a horse! To answer Talligurl above it was midnight and exploring sims and couldn't be bothered changing when I realised my new photo opportunity place was a RP sim with a dress code. They were nice and all and said I just needed changing clothes that's all to stay and join in. I'll go back though out of curiosity.
  13. Probably because your average guy won't use any of it besides the hairbase change, animations and facial hair options. Dont stress though, those heads allow custom tattoo layers so with a hud you can make a bunch of appliers with different makeup combinations if you want a different makeup look. The problem is each option on the hud is another mesh head made and scripted. Those girls heads have like 50 different heads in them with all the different possible combinations. For the small percentage of guys interested in makeup, it sure would be a lot of work put in and lots of extra avatar lag for those not interested in it.
  14. Actually no, you cant wear that in the old Western RP sim, duh! Off you go Daisy, with only one photo..
  15. For the amount of time I have spent in Sl making things the return is very small for the hours/days/weeks of effort it just makes it pay for itself if anything. You would be better off Working RL and enjoying SL or work out the stock market and let someone else do the work for you, but don't jump into that without some research and financial advice first. I have made a few thousand USD over the years but the stock market pales that into insignificance in the same time and for less effort. The major advantage of SL is the Taxman doesn't know about it and you can channel it off to Paypal for eBay purchases if you do make anything.
  16. Lol everyone stands around talking in SL anyway, its not like its an action packed experience that needs more bandwidth usually.
  17. Up until a few weeks ago playing SL after a beverage and buying a LeLutka head on a whim and finding it on my avatar the next day I became a convert from Catwa and I have two of those (Catya & Jessica). The Lelutka Bento heads come with mesh eyes free and heaps of makeup options in the HUD as well as animations much more than Catwa ones I have in Catya. I'd pick one of these first any day. That May might work for a Femboy.
  18. LOL you should say what you really think about it, don't hold it all in like that. I am an Aussie too in Newcastle and it goes fine for me on the NBN @ 25 MB/S and loads on my iMac fast but you need to adjust settings in firestorm if you want that by network settings and draw distance adjustment. The NBN 12 MB/s isn't much better than ADSL 2 when its congested, basically it sucks. I went up to 25 MB/s because that 12 one is ok for Facebook or Googling but downloading files it is crap and that is what SL is or any gaming online. If your computer doesn't have much memory or a decent separate decent graphics card it will slow it down too especially if you bought a cheapo computer and are expecting wonders in a gaming world it cant deliver on a basic internet plan that suffers from network congestion in peak times and slows right down. I just did two speed tests to explain your throughput speed. One is local and looks impressive in NSW but the one between Sydney and San Fransisco (Where LL is) is not so good but LL is heaps faster than what I got off Comcast which is what your real speed is between two cities. I did that test at almost 11PM when everyone's asleep and not on the Net as much here or on Netflix which is an optimal time for fast internet here. The moral to the story is pay for decent internet speed for gaming or spend your life waiting...
  19. Clothes rarely fit and I always copy and rename all body parts I can including system and mesh, adjust it and alpha hide all protruding bits shape edit wont fix and make a new outfit.
  20. Me remembering an ultimate fashion tragedy from 9 years ago with bling and flexiprims everywhere and how I am today in the other at a beach.
  21. Passion Bay is a nice place and worth a look. There is a friendly crowd there most days, a few stores and great beaches.
