  1. Ah. I'm on a desktop. That's what my DD is and even I'm lucky to get 10 FPS and with shadows off. Plus my textures blur in and out so much, the only viewer I can use to do pics is Alchemy. I have to live with it in normal play. My specs: HP W2371d LED (1920x1080) Win 10 AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core 4.00 GHz GeForce 1050 Ti 4 GB 32 GB RAM (Just added 16 GB a few weeks ago) 1TB HD (not SSD) 240 GB SSD (All my SL cache is on this, the only thing) I don't even notice I'm at 128 draw distance and no shadows do not bother me.
  2. Care to share what you are running? I'd love those numbers. Even 20 FPS.
  3. Following because I am trying to find a good build for SL. This is what I have now. OPERATING SYSTEM Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Architecture: 64-bit DirectX version: 9.0c or better MEMORY Total memory: 34 GB HARD DRIVES C: - Free space: 622 GB - Total space: 1784 GB D: - Free space: 117 GB - Total space: 214 GB PROCESSORS 1 - Name: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor - Manufacturer: AuthenticAMD - Description: AMD64 Family 21 Model 2 Stepping 0 - Number of cores: 4 VIDEO CONTROLLERS 1 - Name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti - Adapter compatibility: NVIDIA At home, and it's quite decorated and at other places with loads of items I can get 10-25 FPS but at a club with less decor and a few (5-7) people I get 3-10 FPS but that's not my issue. It is but not that bad. It's the CONSTANT texture reloading that I want to stop. I know I can get to a build that will enable me to *keep* the current settings I have enabled. I just need to figure out what that is. I was going to invest in a GTX 1650 Super 6GB or 1660 4GB but if it's better to just upgrade it all, CPU included, I'll just wait. Although, I need to get a SSD either way cause, I'm not running one. My end goal is to increase my FPS and keep textures from blurring out every few seconds or so.
  4. I can agree with that. I'm the General Manager/DJ/Hostess/Dancer at Clear Skies (M-rated) and I've actually had to say something to people in chat about the "howling wolf" or some other gesture that takes up eons of room. Our dancers strip and there have been times that they'll give their emote in chat but someones gesture bumped it out of the way. 2-3 lines is ok as long as they don't have bunches of symbols and stuff. The most I have is 5-6 and those are my hosting gestures and I use them when there has been a moment of no chat. We love to have conversations at our club! We love to talk to our guests and get to know them.
  5. I also cannot teleport home nor anywhere else. I keep getting placed at a safe hub. THIS IS DEFINATELY A PROBLEM FOR MANY!! This is not an internet problem. If that was the case then I couldn't log in Guild Wars or Champions Online. They use up the same amount of bandwidth as SL. It's not my computer....again I can run the above 2 programs, no problems. This has been happening all day to me and my friend in another city!! Chat support just restarts the sim and even that doesn't work.
