On your suggestion I zoomed in and had a really really long good look and they are indeed pixilated so please accept my humblest apologies :matte-motes-big-grin-evil: LOL... to be fair, you have to zoom in. I'll pixelate more later today!

  3. They are pixelized darlin'. Look closer!
  4. Did you by any chance get charged for enhancements? They are still borked.
  5. I have three markets (mannequins, clothing, and pets) that all compete for sales. Your post made me laugh so I ran a check for my overall top seller from each one. These are my all time top sellers: It's funny because the three products all are within 10 sales of each other right now.

Or do I need to make an additional purchase. Thanks for any info on our joint venture you can give. I offer my brand as a franchise and how the vendor system works is that I sell my affiliate vendors to the one who purchases it. They are then the 'owner' (it's actually a license since I can delete their vendors if they don't follow my rules) of the vendors and can set them up for sales. They are set as taking partial commision. If you are this person's partner and share in sales with them, you'd have to simply trust that they are sharing revenue with you fairly. I'd have no problem with that and also no problem with your name being on your business materials as well. However, if you want your name also on the vendors, that's trickier. Is this what you are asking?
  7. Deja Letov wrote: Actually I have to highly recommend that course of that action to you! I am not someone who can spend all my time in SL, so when I do, I want to spend it building more than anything. I hired someone about 2 months ago and I have to say it was the best thing I ever did. She greets customers in the store, is on call for my "paging" system if someone needs help, manages all of my blogging, reposts those to facebook, she's even recently started to help me do some minor building projects and honestly is just an absolute gem to me. It has taken such a load of stress off of me and now when I log in, I just sit in my skybox and build build build. It's awesome. Best thing I could have ever done for myself. My only advice would be to try and find someone who loves your products because if you don't have a ton of money to spend on that sort of thing, you can hand out your products left and right along with some linden and it makes them happy. I even have some special stuff I plan on doing for her around Christmas just to show her how much I appreciate her and everything she's done. I would never want to lose her! Deja, thank you for confirming for me something I've been thinking about for a while. Can I just ask how you found the right person? That's the part I'm struggling with the most. They are your voice, after all!
  8. I did have that same increase as you, Deja. Interesting, hm?! And I mostly sell clothing so I guess that's where the club sponsorship works for me. It does nothing to increase my mannequin or pet sales though! At first I was hesitant to give away product through gift card prizes but it's amazing how many return customers I'm seeing from the practice. And to your point, marketing inworld makes all the difference (usually) in my sales volume. If I slow down on my blogging, or releasing new product, or sending out newletters, etc., there is always a decline. I'm about ready to hire someone to take that part of my business on to allow me to concentrate my time on new designs and customer service. It's difficult when you try to do it all.
  9. For me, personally, I've experienced this when I am wearing something that is in the folder that I'm trying to drag over or when I'm experiencing lag on my sim. Could this be the case?
  10. Hi Deja, Thanks to your last post, I too put up a survey inworld at my mainstore and for me, the overwhelming reason that people are finding my brand is through Club sponsorship and my marketplace store. I said I'd report numbers but I've only got a small number of responses so a little patience. But to answer your question, inworld sales in September were 70% higher than they have been so far in October for me. This is a huge drop and my marketplace sales are very close to the same they were last month. I've been trying to attribute it to Hallowe'en taking up customer lindens (I don't have costumes) but really, I don't honestly buy in to that reasoning. My store is searchable and I keep up a classified. Granted, I don't pay high into it but it's up. There just doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the fluctuations we've all been seeing since the summer.
  11. I noticed the same change a while back and am also frustrated with it. I used it the same way you do. It's now impossible to find anything. Even a search would be helpful! I have found a work around, though. If you copy the listings and import it into Excel, you can sort by name, etc. and it is way easier to find what you are looking for that way.
  12. Best of luck to you both! And just try to be patient. It takes a while to build up a customer base but it's also a lot of fun to do it. I started my brand a little over a year ago and it took a good 6 months of blogging, joining hunts and events, marketing in magazines, etc. before really starting to see regular sales. Now business is steady and growing. One word of advise... for the first few months, use your sales revenue to invest back into your business in terms of marketing. And good customer service also goes a LONG way.

Just trying to clarify since alot of people were rebilled even when it said expiring. This. I'm watching this very closely as I have over 20 items stuck in expiring mode. I don't want to be charged for these items.
  14. Over 4500 and counting... kudos when it's deserved, CT!
  15. I agree 100%. The business model you are proposing isn't as easy as it was a few years ago. In order to seduce merchants to rent on your sim, you have to have a reason, other than shopping or dancing, to draw people there. The club competition is fierce and I actually don't know any club owners who are turning a profit anymore. My advice is to put some heavy thought into making your sim unique and desirable, a place where people will want to hang out and visit often. Add this with the above tips, and you may entice merchants to rent and to stay. Good luck!
  16. I might be interested. Can you be a bit more specific about what you are looking for?
  17. I totally agree. I've always wondered why so many designers only show one side (the front) of the clothing in their ads. I make it a point to always have all sides showing in both my Marketplace and inworld vendor images as well as the perms and what is included in the box and also the price on all of my ads. Sometimes, I'll design a piece of clothing that actually has more detail on the back than on the front. Why wouldn't I want to show it off? I agree with the OP. I won't buy anything that only shows one view. I've been burned and I refuse to do that to my customers, even though, yes, it takes a lot more work to do it. Great post.

What I would suggest is to google SL model Agencies / schools and contact the owners. I'm sure they teach a standard set of slider settings for their models. Good luck!

Not going to be happy if I get charged for enhancements that I'd tried to cancel. Agreed. I'm still seeing enhancements up that I set to not renew. I'm not going to be happy if I get charged for those.
  20. I'd be very interested in how you went about this survey actually. I've been thinking about doing that for a while now but didn't know where to begin. I'd certainly share my results.
  21. The majority of my clothing is non mesh as well. I am in no rush to switch, at least until the deformer is out and is proven to work properly. There is also that niggly feeling that when I do wear mesh, a lot of people can't see my outfit and I imagine I look really weird to them. My links are below if you want to check out my designs.
  22. As a designer, I think this is a wonderful idea. The only problem is that often bloggers don't let us know when something has been blogged. You've given me an idea, though. I already have a website that I list my full catalogue of products on but it currently only points to the product on the marketplace. Would it help this if I pointed to where the product can be found in my mainstore as well and then had a url giver at the landing point in my store that gives customers the option to open my website to view my catalogue?

It seems to me that they may have implemented (as a prep perhaps?) some kind of check for products being in MB still or having been migrated to DD. My deliveries are happening. It's just sending double ans to my vendor backend. One from MB and the other from DD. ONLY on the items I still have in MBs though, interestingly. mtwfss71, the ANS system has sent "double" from day one. The ANS for Marketplace sends ANS transactions for the entire Marketplace as designed. However the Magic Boxes also have their own ANS system totally separate from the one for Marketplace so they also send an ANS transaction for each MB delivery. You need to disable your Magic Box ANS and just use the Marketplace ANS. You can do so HERE. Actually Darius, and thank you for that, I did disable my MB ans a few months ago. And the only double ANS sent were for MB purchases beginning a few days ago. An ANS gets sent stating the purchase is from MB and then again a little while later, stating that the item was purchased through DD. I double checked to make sure those items weren't on both and they are not. They are only in MB. And I also checked with the customers and they only bought it the once. LL is doing something automated.

I had a customer buy the same product twice (actually, they only bought it once but it shows as being delivered twice) from the marketplace. This item is still in my MB. I have 1/2 my products on DD and the other half in MB. On the log, it shows being delivered from MB and then almost an hour later, delivered from DD. The customer says they only got it once. The attempt to redeliver from DD even though it isn't on DD is weird. This sounds like someone introduced a bug. I'm going to migrate the rest of my stock this weekend. This supports my theory on another thread that something, either automated or manual, is somehow doing a "check" for lack of a better word on merchants who have their products divided between the two delivery systems.
