  1. Hey, everyone. I saw a nice house owned by someone I used to be friends with. They had these really nice forest walls outside their house at the borders of the land they owned. One of them told me I could make my own if I had a mega-prim. The problem is...I don't know how to make one and neither does she. And she had to go make dinner, so now I am here asking two things...1: How do I make a texture into a privacy wall? 2: Does anyone have a privacy wall of a lush green forest they could give to me if I cannot make my own? EDIT: Do you need a megaprim to make a privacy wall? If not, then is creating one as simple as building a wall and applying a texture to it? If not, how is it done? EDIT 2: I have walls around my house. Can I upload a photo of a forest and use it to texture the walls I've made? If so, how do I do this? How do I apply a texture to an object I have made? Once I do this, I will only have to find a nice forest photo and figure out a way to make it into a texture for my huge walls.
  2. Hi. I do not know if Land is the correct place to post this, but here it is... Earlier today, I went to check out the Virtual Medical Doctor and found it not to be there. Does anyone know what happened to it? Has it been re-located? If so, where do I find it?
  3. Just got on SL and everything SEEMS to be working fine for me, but...I am unable to see or interact with anyone else's avatars! Is this just me or other people as well?
  4. I searched for this and could not find it anywhere, so here I go to ask this question...I was told by someone on Second Life it was possible to somehow place objects inside other objects. How do I do this? Does this work for all objects or just some objects?
  5. Hello everyone. I would like to file a complaint about a couple of trolls, but I am not sure how to do this. Therefore, I am posting this question for everyone to see. Now here's the issue...Earlier today, I was bothered by two young men in Second Life who claimed to be Vampires. They wanted me to let them 'bite me' but I was not interested and they somehow froze me in place with odd blue particles. They demanded to let me bite them or else and said they were from a group called Bloodlines. When I refused to do as they demanded, they somehow teleported me to a strange city using some kind of neon cyan pentagram animation. I did not want to find out what might happen next, so I teleported out of the city and told the Dead End group chat about the problem. They promptly banned the two trolls from their parcel. But now I fear they will come to my house and try the same old tricks with me again and maybe some new ones. This is why I want to deal with them now before things get really ugly. IMPORTANT NOTE: These two trolls were trying to force me into allowing them to do something to my avatar on the ground of an official role playing group on Second Life. Can these people be banned from SL for their actions? Also, how were these two people able to freeze my avatar and then teleport him?
  6. Questions about building a Linden Home... 1: How much would it cost me to build a 4-story rustic mountain retreat? The four stories would include a first floor, a second floor, an attic, and a cellar. 2: Can I add stained glass windows to my house? 3: Can I add wind chimes to my house? If so, what styles and sizes of wind chimes can I buy? 4: Can I put a spiral staircase or two in my house? 5: My house needs to be large enough to hold the following rooms: A living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a study hall, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an attic, a cellar, and possibly a garage. How can I make sure my house and the area it is built in will be large enough to hold these rooms? 6: Is it easy to build up such a rustic mountain house? The Linden Homes offered for free to paying subscribers are nice, but not what I am looking for in a Linden Home. 7: Can my house be on or near a tall mountain range? If so, how do I put it there?
