I thought bigger was better! J/K In all seriousness, pick up lines are not genuine, and show a lack of respect. Just say hi, and be honest, for example, if I am messaging someone, its because I liked something in their profile, and wanted to chat more, so I would tell them so. ~Sydrien
  2. Great! As long as you got the mobility driver from ATI like I suggested then it is the right one. The only time you need to worry about getting it directly from the laptop manufacturer is when its integrated and not stand alone. Most high end laptops these days are stand alone graphic cards that just smaller and slightly different specc'ed then desktop drivers. I am glad you were able to get it fixed, looking forward to seeing some snapshots in the ultra settings from you!
  3. Don't buy that motherboard, not now, not ever. The XFX 780i is not only outdated technology but the XFX brand itself has proven to be unreliable, in my opinion and experience. I used to build custom pcs for a company that sold them, so I have had a lot of first hand experience with them. I would be looking at getting something using an i5 or i7 technology as far as CPU goes. EVGA is a reliable brand and Asus has been building some very solid boards as well. Graphic cards, don't spring for a Frozr II edition, not worth it, all they have is extra cooling and I think a factory overclock if I remember correctly and that is not worth it. If I may ask, what were you spending on the system you posted specs for? I have a feeling whoever is selling it is over charging you, and if thats the case, I might be able to point you towards a few companies who can custom build something better.
  4. Updating your driver is super easy, what you can do is go to this site here http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx and on the right hand side you will see an option to download your driver. Put in all the required spots, and download the driver. I see your running a mobility card, which tells me your on a laptop, so be extra careful to make sure you do select the correct driver. If you choose a desktop driver it can cause problems with the laptop graphics card. If you do not feel comfortable selecting the driver yourself AMD also has the automatically detect and install option as well which is good for those who may not be completely comfortable in handling the process themself. If you have any more questions feel free to look me up in world, or reply here.
  5. I just went through something similar with an ATI card as well. Update your graphics card driver to make sure you have the newest driver available. Fixed my problem right away. I was getting graphical tearing exactly like yours when I went up to ultra settings.
