I have selected where I want to be, and I have someone waiting for me there...but she told me to select the advanced mode and I haven't been offered that...and I can't get back to Wyrm. Help

My laptop isn't installing SL right. I keep getting a message that it doesn't recognize the protocol. What have I done wrong when I installed it?

I chose my user name without realizing that it would be my persona as well...I wan't to change my username to be more reflective of the avatar I want to be.
