  1. Thanks for all the replies Yeah, I get it, not everybody wants to spend the time rigging for a mesh body, but I wonder how anybody knows how well a mesh body has been selling anyway. Oh well, I did have a Jake that I bought a long time ago, and at that time, there weren't many clothes for it. I'll get it out of the closet now and try to update the skin and find clothes. Thanks again!
  2. I had to take a couple of years off from SL, and when I got back, I wanted to get some new clothes and update my look. However, I found pretty quickly, that my body, the Slink Physique Male Mesh Body, didn't have as many clothes available as some other bodies out there. When I bought it, it was doing great, but now it seems other bodies have taken over. Anybody know why this is?
  3. Thanks for all your replies! I have tried the suggestions, and I still havent really found anything new and good. Oh well, serves me right for being a man
  4. Thank you for your replies! I have tried almost all the shops mentioned so far, but did forget about Dura - thanks Lock & Tuft is a new one for me, and Limerance too, going to try them! Thanks again!
  5. Oops, I think I posted this in the wrong section, sorry! I can't find a way to delete it lol
  6. Hello, is it me, or have creators in SL stopped making new male hair? I have checked out all the old LMs I used to have, and I can't see anything new. All the new hair is for women! Can anybody suggest some hair shops that would have good new male hair in them? Thanks!

  9. It worked, at least to clean up my managing page. I stillhave a lot of rubbish on the reports page, but thats going to be less and less relevant as time goes on, because it's just a counter from the beginning. Oh well, small steps
  10. Thanks, I guess it's going to stay a mess forever now:)
  11. And it gets better. I have 15 active items for sale, 20 items in the Viewer-Managed Marketplace list (including those 5 nameless listings I mentioned above), but in my Top Selling Products list ... I have 31 items. Some named listing are doubled up, and there are the now-famous namless ones too. What the hell?
  12. Hi, I have just made a store, and after a little bit of trouble (not all my folders got added to the Manage Listings page), now I have 5 more items listed there, than I should have. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get rid of them, deleting them in the various ways the page apllows brings up a green 'Successfully removed!' message but they are still there. Here is a gyazo to show what I mean: https://gyazo.com/2c68a8657393b2bd519df4faa6441063 Anybody know how to get rid of the empty listings?
  13. I believe this happens, but probably it's rather awkward, so understandably people might assume it was intentional. Here is a post I made some time ago: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/Friend-deleted-but-I-didn-t-do-it/m-p/2981604
  14. Hi, thanks for replying, and sorry for late reply myself! Yes, hover height is the only way I guess, shame really.
  15. I am not really sure where to post this, but perhaps artists and photographers in SL would have the most experience with windlight. I saw an old picture of Torley's on Flickr and the description says the windlight was 'leroy3' Does anybody know where I could get that windlight? Or maybe you know the creator or owner of that place, who might be abe to help? (The land right now is for sale). Here is a link to the picture so you can see the sky: https://www.flickr.com/photos/torley/10849317464/in/photostream/
  16. The other day I got talking to someone new, and like sometimes happens, we friended. Next day I see she is gone from my list, so I sent her a joking IM about the shortest relationship in history. Perhaps I shouldn't have said anything if she had decided to get rid of me after such a short time, but I am glad I did. It turns out, that she claimed she didn't delete me, and she even took my IM as ME saying goodbye to her. However, I am 100% sure that I did not delete her from my list. It's possible that she was in fact lying about deleting me, but for one thing - about a month ago, a friend I had had for a longer peroid also claimed I had deleted her, when I didn't do it that time either. Is anybody aware of a bug or problem with the viewer or servers that might cause this?
  17. Sassy might be right, but if the animation editor happens to be Qavimator, then you may end up not doing nothing, but actually twisting and turning and bending double lol. I have had this problem, and I have heard it mentioned in the group by others, that setting the joints to 0 can cause this problem. I get round it by having a 'template' starting ani where all joints are either 1 or -1, not really enough to be noticeable, but I am not sure if this would mean your uploaded ani would do nothing.
  18. I have this animation I want to use whenever the situation requires it, but it is just a little too high off the ground. I tried putting it in an AO (I got a free open source Zhao from MP intending just to use this ani in it), but for the life of me, I cannot see any settings that would allow me to offset the height of it, like you can see in some other script functions, e.g. (0,0,0), where the last 0 could be set to -0.5 to make it lower. Can anybody help me find a script function that might let me do this, or suggest another way of lowering this animation? It's full perm, if that helps, perhaps there is a way to export it to my computer and lower it using Qavimator, which I can use. Ideally i would like some kind of HUD button that I could press to turn it on and off. Perhaps there is a script or another simpler AO that might allow me to do this.
  19. There is a certain mesh head for men, which has become very popular and common around SL. You can see male avatars wearing it often, and a lot of male bloggers use it to show in their fashion posts too. I won't post pictures or link to them, because I am sure you know which one I am talking about, and if you don't, go to a crowded place and it's the one most men are now wearing. It seems to be a very popular look, but for some reason I think it looks ugly as hell, and today I finally realized why. It looks like Justin Beiber. You're welcome.
  20. What would you bring to this business?
  21. Great! Thanks for your replies, I am really looking forward to trying a new progout now!
  22. Hi, I am not a pro at making poses or animations, but I have been making poses for my flickr pictures for over 6 months now, using Qavimator, and I think I have a good idea how to do so now. I recently saw that Daz was free to use, and I am considering downloading it to try, but before I spend any time trying to learn a new program, I wondered if it was worth it for what I needed it for. Like I said, I don't create animations, all I need is a way to make poses for flickr pictures taken in SL. I don't even want to sell these poses, and almost all of the ones I make are not even full body, they only go up to the crop point of my picture. My question is, will another program, like Daz, enable me to move the SL avatar limbs further than I can already in Qavimator? There are some poses I would like to be able to do but because some limb movements are limited, I can't seem to make them. Will Daz (or another pose program) allow me to move the limbs further?
  23. I do not have any RL payment info associated with this account, but I do get $L from an undisclosed source I use the MP a lot, and I do have PIOF on my mesh upload status page. I went in-world to check my profile, and was surprised to see it said 'Payment Info Used. So ... I guess LL can try to get this right again ...
