  1. I'm looking for a experienced/diligent scriptor whose expertise especially lies in vehicle and interactive huds. I'm a good bridge to get constant customers, so please hit me up if interested.
  2. Hello guys, I'll keep it simple. I'm a custom animator who work for quite a handful of shop owners, and I need a skilled scripter who can take constant jobs. I'm not gon ask for % or any type of shares. I'll let the scripter get their 100% commission/profits from jobs (your own earning is 100% yours), and will make sure jobs don't run out. I need a scripter (or scripters) in a business relationship where I can send my customers to them. And I'm hoping to find one who understands the nature of contracting in SL (experienced preferred). Here are the qualities I'm looking for in a scripter: 1) Available: Always ready to take jobs 2) Honest: Do not rip customers off (High importance) 3) Diligent: Get jobs done on time 4) Hard working: Not being afraid of taking difficult jobs 5) Cooperative: Communicative / Kind Here are what I can promise for a scripter: 1) Promotion: You won't be disappointed 2) Opportunity: You will have chances to work for brands 3) Privacy: I will never ask about your income / status 4) Respect: I will treat u as a professional Here is what you need when you apply: - Any proof of your scripting skills (such as a scripted item / your store) (All levels of skill are welcome, especially Food / Interactive are highly welcome) I will reject anyone who is arrogant n doesn't communicate well, degrading my customers in any way as well as one without any script examples. Please talk to me inworld.
  3. Just an idea to share. Apart from the default categories that are provided by LL, I would like to customize my own categories on my Marketplace Store. For example, under Animations, I'd name a tab called "Typer Animations," which its product still shows up under the LL's default category on search but the customers can easily browse stuff on my MP accordingly. That way the merchants would have better opportunities to present their products. Let alone saving energy/time answering peoples' questions involving the product lines we have. What do you guys think? Will LL listen to this kinda idea? P.S. Perhaps this would encourage merchants to utilize MP more than inworld, thus more revenues for LL.
  4. I just noticed the increased fees. First of all, I have no idea why the revenues and fees must increase at all? Linden Lab is discouraging me as a merchant to create contents when I'm aware my earnings will be less every year. It's a slow kill in my opinion, and Second Life will be about just big brands who work in Linden's favour very soon. The great thing about SL used to be small designers who create authentic, fun, fresh contents that increase variety for all kinds of audiences. However, today I'm burdened to pay for premium that promises me nothing (even the customer service seems like an A.I. with the auto-responses), not to mention, commissions that chip away my effort to create. I'm guessing LL would take more away from merchants over absolutely nothing. Is Linden entitled or a merchant? I'm really upset about this. Think about this vicious cycle that will eventually befall people who BUY your stuff. Merchants will have to increase their prices to match their earnings, and eventually buyers will suffer. So nobody wins in the sinking boat, and I hate to burden my regulars with this kinda justification every time. I pay premium purely for the love of Second Life. I support Linden. But now I'm gonna reconsider supporting the slowkill the market.
  5. So you're perfectly fine when it hits 300 cos market changes all the time?
  6. I see numerous merchants on the marketplace lowered their prices down to 50 (from about 300 per item) because of its capiricous profits which i suspect is affected by the whole collapsing promise of our steady income like last year. I strongly believe a lot of residents are actually money laundrying in second life and Linden Lab can't do anything about it to stop it. Even if they're manipulating the market to "prevent" something, it's equavelent of burning up the entire field for several flies and I don't see we'll make any money here in the future, unless LL would cut the veteran merchants some slack. I wish they would instead of singling us out for making more than they think we should. I love second life so much but then this is so pessimistic. I've been scanning over the forums to see who actually made a rant about it. I haven't seen much lately and I can see why. Pessimism.
  7. You guys know what I'm talking about. It's a matter of time the exchange rate solars up to 290 over night at this point. I'm so disappointed whatever/whoever is causing this ridiculous suicidal marketplay because I remember when I could sell for 247 after waiting for 7 days and the rate was still steady. That was last year. What the hell happened this year? It's 261 right now. Are you kidding me?
  8. Ive been having the same issue since last week.
  9. Enough said. Remind you this is just A portion of my empty listing malfunctioning. I can't even remove them. LL, you've got to fix this bug.
  10. Yea I use Singularity and use the official viewer to upload my stuff. The following behaviours will cause your blank listing: 1. Messaging / receiving notifications during, 2. Creating lists of a bunch of them all at once 3. Creating Lists too fast (i.e. Immediately create listing after transferring your stuff into the Merchant box) The following behaviours would cost you less trouble: 1. Make sure you freshly restarted your viewer 2. Set your status "Do Not Disturb" to pretend incoming messages/notifications 3. Create Listings slowly (give it a few seconds before you list) 4. Make sure your internet connection is on point 5. Make sure you're in NO LAG zone inworld
  11. Great, I was about to write about this, I've had enough with this issue. So annoying. My ghetto solution for this was blocking all the incoming messages during uploading your products. Talking to someone seems to create this problem. This is some kind super-delicate system to work with. I hope they fix this bug. This bug created over 10+ empty listings that I cannot even remove.
  12. You should probably contact the other thousand of merchants who do the same. By the way how is this related to the topic I posted lol
  13. Drake1 Nightfire wrote: What is their complaint? Just a helpful tidbit of info.. You really need to link your demo items to the actual product.. Not a single one in the 4 pages i went through was. They have no legit complaints. That's the thing. For demos, It's too much work to include the demo on very single product page especially when I release the new item in every 3-4 days. You can just search the demo by the lowest price they all show up at once. I find that more convenient for the regulars who keep up with new releases.
  14. As a customer myself, I'm so used to seeing the profiles that say "IMs capped, please send me a NC," or a merchant saying I should've sent them a notecard, so my autopilot to contact a merchant is a notecard. As a merchant I prefer IMs of course knowing it sends to my email right away, but some customers would rather persistently do the notecard.
  15. Some people start off with report threats when they're unhappy with the product instead of asking for an exchange or A/S. They usually calm down and apologise later on as I'm helping them but geez it becomes so repetitive I feel like I need an assistant to take care this thing. About Scammers. I have at least 2-3 a month sending me a fake receipt in order to get a freebie. Thankly I save all my transaction records. Also there are scammers who claim that they have bought from me and the product magically disappeared from their inventory. I'm not sure if it's a universal thing they pull to get stuff, I get that alot, too. Lastly, they claim that they made a mistake purchasing the similar item. They get very upset that they wanted the other one but can't due to being broke. I compensate them sometimes if they have bought from me in the past, but yea, I shouldn't.
  16. Thank you for the response, and yes, the TOS will save me from any more further confrontations. It's exhausting to deal with them at least once a week.
  17. Thank you for the very insightful feedback on the subject. Yes, of course I accept harsh criticisms and negativity into my positive outcome of my future creation. I do appreciate them taking time and talking to me about it. However, my target audience for my creation is relatively young. Maybe it's got something to do with my constant confrontation with the customers. Some are ridiculously immature being around the age of 15 and stuff (yea I know shyt). Combine that with no editing skills, being novice about SL, etc would end up wasting my time on reading their offthewall accusations. Most times it has nothing to do with the product. They would involve their own mates and you know the kids stuff. Other than that I handle customer service pretty well. Just I wanted to know how other veteran merchants deal with unpleasant confrontations. And I'm glad to know I'm not alone.
  18. Hey that's not fair for you to get reviews like that. Take it to people's court RIGHT NOW!
  19. Alright. This post will be a mix of rant and a lil bit of ha-ha. It's cool that a customer is upset with a mediocre product to their liking. They have the right to ask for refund or A/S to get back their money worth. But what do you do if they overdo it to rip you off. Or even threaten you to report when they don't get what they want outta you. Intention wise, it's been a minor problem for me along side my everyday business. Some of the customers I've had really abused the kindness and generocity to get what they want. Some are very crafty, too. I can't tell you enough how many times I've got reported just because they didn't get what they wanted and I wouldn't believe their lies, such as lies that what a teenager would pull to get more allowance, sorta thing. It's just ridiculous. They buy one thing and twist it as if they got the other so they can get what they wanted outta me. Ok, sometimes I do it with my one eye closed for the sake of customer care, but when it's being abundant I will disagree. And yea, I get reported as the outcome (by lil kids) (who have bipolar disorder) (maybe).
  20. When transaction page was renewed into a new layout, I was excited to see the date range calender. I thought finally I could retrack all my transaction history without saving the files manually. Today I see nothing has really changed. The record still allows me to keep track just for a month range. So... what's the point of seeing all the greyed out dates which I cannot click. Just a thought.
  21. It's been goin on for me since last year. Nothing new.
  22. I'm currently using Singualrity on windows 7 32 bit, yet the high resolution setting results in flashing the menus which is quite annoying. Which viewer would you recommend for windows 7?
  23. Perrie Juran wrote: To be clear here, 'missing records' and 'not getting paid' are two different things. If a record was missing you would see an unexplained change in the running total. In this case, the reason you have no 'record' is because you never received the payment (got paid). I hear you on that. I might not have received the payment for that partciular missing record. What if it was lost just like the record itself ? That's what I'm concerned about. The system is so flawed, my trust in LL is wearing thin lately.
