My premium account turns 45 days old sometime this week so I've been checking the dashboard to see if the bonus has come in yet. I haven't seen it, but then I started wondering if maybe they pay it out on Tuesdays with the stipend. Does anyone here know if that's the case? Edit: Thanks, Ariel.

There isn't really an inworld Marketplace the same way there is on the web site. There are a whole bunch of different shops and the best way to find what you're looking for is to do a Search. It's probably not working today, though, because SL is broken. Check the Grid Status Report for more info. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/

I know this has been resolved, but if you look at the status report that Irene posted you'll see that it says "unscheduled" mainteinance. This was not convenient for any of us and I doubt the people at LL were terribly happy about it either.

I recently created an alt account and my alt's inventory doesn't have the same "official" inventory folders as my main account. When I say "official" folders I mean the ones above the trash folder because every folder I create shows up under the trash folder. So, for example, the main account has folders like Animations, and Body Parts that my alt account doesn't, even after I purchased an avatar and an AO. I'm using the standard Linden viewer for both accounts. Could the difference be that my main account is premium but my alt account is basic? Edit: Ry0ta, that was it. I started to create a new shape and the Body Parts one opened. Thanks! Innula, do you know how to open those folders without having to try and create new things?

There's another way, but the applications Valerie linked to are probably easier. I have my account linked to a Gmail account which i can check on my phone. I can send IM's from there, but it usually works best when I'm responding to one I received when I was offline. Sometimes I can start one from there, but the person's address isn't always valid anymore.

I have a feeling this is a really dumb question so I'd like to apologize in advance but I'm going to ask it anyway. Is there a way to make a wall that I can see out of but people can't see in? I have a small piece of land and I'd like to put up walls around the edges for privacy. I don't want people to see in but I'd still like to see out. I was defriended recently (hard to believe, I know :matte-motes-big-grin:) and I didn't get a notification. But I'm one of those people that Cinn mentioned who checks their friends list so that's how I knew.

We can't tell you for sure if it will violate the TOS. We're not Lindens here, just residents like you. It's my opinion that if you're in a skybox it's unlikely that anyone will know except the people you invite up there. HOWEVER, it might be best if that person used a non-child avatar for that situation (maybe one of the base ones so they don't have to spend money).

Peggy, I would imagine that in a case like that LL wouldn't do anything. If all parties have given their consent and the IM's aren't being used for griefing, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I have two lovely young ladies who are wearing OC collars (I am set as the owner on both). I'm kind of new in this role, however, and I have a couple of questions about using the RLV functions. Well, more than a couple, sorry. But thank you to anyone who can help me with this. 1. They are both using RL Viewers. Do they need to be wearing an RLV relay for the collar functions to work? Or does the collar have it's own built-in relay? 2. If I were to, say, block their access to their inventory (for example) through the collar, would that last only while I was logged in or would that last until I enabled access? 3. And finally, is there a forced TP option? I know that if I am holding a leash when I send them a TP request they show up right away, but is that the only way to do a forced TP? Or does it depend on the collar? And when I send the request are they responding to it or are they automatically TP'd to my location? Edit: Thank you, Innula! I didn't know about that page. I have it bookmarked now.

I should know this one, but... I want to edit a friends objects. She has given me permission (as per the KB instructions) but I still can't get an edit menu. The one thing I can think of that I may be doing wrong is from this line. Your collaborative partners cannot edit your objects if they have Select Only My Objects enabled in their Tools menu. But I can't find the Tools Menu. Can someone tell me, where is it again? Thank you!

That happened to me a lot when I started. Cinn's link will tell you how to open boxes, but sometimes you'll find there are more packages (boxes) inside that first box. You'll have to open those, too, to get the items.

Is it possible to have an IM conversation with more than one person at the same time without creating a group for them? What I want to do is kind of like three-way calling. I want to have three different avatars having an IM conversation in one IM window, with all three avi's seeing what's being said and able to respond. We'll work around it if it isn't possible, but I hope it is. Edit: I love you guys! Thanks!

Cinn is right - the answer may depend on your viewer. But, have you tried clicking the small arrow in the chat window first? It's right next to where you would type your chat message. It controls whether you see the open chat in one window or many separate ones.

Just keep in mind that any wall you create will count against your prim allowance. A single wall probably won't be more than one or two prims, but they can add up.

Why would you want to? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude or cause problems, I just don't understand the question.
