Looking for a DJing gig, for perhaps once or twice a week at most (I can do less as well, including one-time deals). I play mostly rock (modern and classic), pop, and jazz, but I have done various other genres such as country, blues, R&B, even classical. I also have numerous themed sets. I do not do rap, EDM, trance, heavy metal, etc. Feel free to contact me in SL; I have a notecard with more info.

If it's not SL, then why are others having similar problems? It's not just me, as I said. And clearing cache doesn't cause further issues, though it might initially cause some slowdown due to having to "re-cache" things somewhat. It would not cause hanging/crashing though. And as I mentioned, I've tried tweaking all the typical suspects - bandwidth, complexities, etc etc. But thx for letting me know you haven't noticed any issues on your end.

I've tried the usual tricks, clearing cache, newer FS version, adjusting various settings, etc. But nothing changes it......and I know at least a few others are having the same problems, so wondering how widespread this is and if LL is actually doing anything about it. This started oh a few months ago or so and continues in force. God forbid I go to a sim with more than a few people in it......if so, lag gets ridiculous in fairly short order, often to the point where nothing less than forcibly closing SL (thru task manager) and restarting will "fix" it. wtfo? Anyone else having this problem lately? Didn't used to be like this except maybe if you were at a place just packed with people.

Lesson learned: if it's not broke don't fix it! Win 7 is an excellent OS and Win 10 unproven, to put it kindly. IMO you have to be insane to "upgrade" 7 to 10. That's like changing your order from a steak to a burger because the burger is a "new kind."

I'm sorry but both of these answers are poor. Just because you have a 64-bit processor doesn't necessarily mean the 64 version is best. Further, there are two 32-bit versions. Which of those is better? Unfortunately, the web site doesn't answer or address any of these questions, because, well, frankly, that site SUCKS beyond belief. How can you put up three versions of your product and give no info whatsoever about which might be best and why? And good luck trying to get hold of anyone who might answer these questions. I have a 64-bit processor and running the 32 bit "Havoc" version as I've heard of others having problems with the others. It seems fine so far, for whatever that might be worth, and I agree it might not be a lot either, but my connection is slow lately and I don't have the patience (or need) to try another version. If this one starts giving me problems, I'll go to another viewer altogether.

I recently found out I can't delete a group which I own. Anyone else think that's pretty ridiculous? And you think that's dumb, get the workaround: "Eject everyone in your group and if you leave it alone for 2 weeks, it will automatically be deleted." So I have to eject everyone (a ridiculously lengthy process, and more so the more members you have) and wait 2 weeks to boot, vs just letting me delete it with a single click. Ah, LL brilliance........

Cmon over and check us out - a casual place, no dress codes, etc but some great live acts (including the owner, Trow Boa, an outstanding sax player) and great DJs - I know as I'm one of em, lol - seriously check it out, friendly people in a laid back setting - hope to see ya!

LOL @ friendly. Yes it's so "friendly" that the owner will give you the boot without reason or cause and doesn't even have the class or courtesy to even explain her mistake. If you consider poisonous snakes and black widow spiders friendly, yessir this is the place for you!

I am having this problem too. I just now finally got from being a cloud/white dot to being "ruth" (short female). However I cannot change my shape or anything else because it says I "have to wait until clothes and shape are fully loaded" which never happens. Numerous rebakes, reloads etc don't help.
