There is a Vogue article about blueberry and the fashion model runway she had done with a well known real life fashion designer. He sent the files to her and she re-created his RL fashion into 3D mesh that was applied to SL bot avatars.

I created a new bakes on mesh how to for tattoo creation. It's in the bakes on mesh section in the forum if you'd like to have a look. I'll be posting all tutorials in the same thread. This time the images will be uploaded instead of linked.

Step 5:
Open SL viewer or 3rd party viewer.
Use a pose stand or a pose or a pose animation from your head or body hud that makes your avatar stand with arms down.
Get as close as you can to the upper chest without the mesh clipping in the view.
Open your inventory window and open the Body Parts folder.
Create a new folder(right click body parts folder to create a new folder) and name it Love font tutorial.
Right click this folder and select New Clothes>New Tattoo
Rename the new tattoo to love tutorial.
Right click the love tutorial tattoo and select Add.
Click the Recent tab at the top of your inventory window.
Press CTRL U to open your file window and open the folder that has the love 100
Select love 100 and click Open.
In the SL upload window that pops up, click Upload.
Right click the new texture and select Cut
Click the Inventory tab and paste into your love tutorial folder.
Right click the folder and select Paste.
Right click the worn tattoo and select Edit.
Push the edit tattoo window next to your inventory window.
Drag the texture you uploaded to the Upper Tattoo square.
Click the Save button top left of the edit window.
There is some jagged edges but this is normal on mesh bodies as it stretches the texture.
I have pulled away some on the 3rd photo so you can see how it would look to other people.
The 100 in the file name means 100 opacity.
Open photoshop or your favorite art program.
Select the font layer and change the opacity to 50%.
Name the 50% tattoo to love 50.
Repeat the same steps to save to your computer and upload to SL.
Fourth image shows the love tattoo at 50%.

Step 4:
Select the white color and then click the font tool.
Select the font layer.
Choose your favorite font from the font name dropdown menu.
Click in the middle of the map, type love in lowercase
Select font size to 24 pt.
Press the checkmark at the top to finalize your text input.
Click the move tool and move the word love to the chest area on the uv map.
Hide the solid color and upper uv map layers by pressing the eye icon next to each layer.
Press CTRL ALT i to open image size.
Change only the ppi of 1200 to 300 and change the resample to bilinear in the drop down menu.
Changing only the ppi transforms both the width and height to 1024.
Press enter or click ok to save and leave this menu.
Click File>Export>Quick export as PNG
Name it love 100 and click Save.

Step 3: Create another layer and drag it under the font layer.
Click the paint bucket tool and fill it with the color black.
Rename the layer to solid color and change its opacity to 50 %.

Step 2: Open the upper revised sl uv map into your art program of choice.
Double click the name of the layer and rename to upper uv map.
Create a new layer with the plus sign or however you do it in your art program.
Rename this layer to font.

Step 1: Download the upper sl uv map.
I found a revised version but unfortunately unable to credit the creator of it since the blog has been removed. The blogspot name is Hell House Studios.
The resolution of this sl uv map has been resized by me to 4096 by 4096(width and height) with 1200 pixels per inch(ppi).
This resolution size is what I use for every tattoo I make, fonts and designs.

I have my first thread in here but videos and images are missing. I'll be sharing with you step by step via uploaded images, on how I make tattoos.
Choose your favorite art program. I'll be using Photoshop CC for this how to, on creating simple font tattoos. I'll be working with the SL UV Maps, which you'll be able to download.
The next reply to this thread will be the beginning of this tutorial. Follow this thread to stay tuned and to bookmark it.

Assuming you have the paid Curvy body and not the free one, there should be something in the hud to clear all layers. If not, just unpack a new copy of the body.
I had believed the OP when they said it's not an applier layer. I was going to suggest that could be it, but then didn't.

In the video, he talks about releasing a slim body with small and flat chest features at a later date.

They didn't make Venus for a softer tone to Ipanema..
Both lines are two different lines of skin tones..
You won't find a matching version of Ipanema's ebony skin tone, in the Venus line to get less of a shine for ebony..
My thing is, a good neck fade coming with a head or even 3rd party, isn't locking me into a certain body skin.. I can have the freedom to pick and choose, or just use the ones I already have and like.
I would much rather have the freedom to choose my body skins than have to settle for less of an outcome than i want..
How did you have venus before ipanema? ipanema was the only body skin by velour in her store. then she released the new venus skin line at the skin fair in march this year. https://flic.kr/p/2n855n3
first was ipanema and then ipanema soft. ipanema came out in may 2021.

Removing the body will not remove a system layer, nor a mesh object. It's sounding like you were wearing a system layer. It would be a pants layer in your current outfit folder. You can also do an inventory cache as well from preferences. You'll have to relog for that to take effect, then wait for your inventory to fully fetch.
For system layers, you can only take off. For mesh objects, you detach.
If you're not wearing mesh, try looking for mesh clothing rigged for ebody curvy. I'll link you to their discord. they have a channel dedicated to ebody curvy clothing. they also share gifts for that body, too.

thanks!!Open preferences, navigate to network tab and clear cache, click ok to save. logout and then log back in to a low lag sim. Wait for your inventory to fully fetch your inventory before tp'ing anywhere. You can then detach your jeans.

I'm listening to a bird sing the same tune outside my window. It has 6 notes and it's not annoying. It's quite soft but also audible for me to pay attention to it. It sounds kind of melancholy. I wonder if it is calling out to its fledglings to return to the nest? Or wishing everyone a good evening.

I'd never want some supernatural thing to make itself seen and actually hear it talk to me. I don't believe that this xtian god is loving anyhow. BOM can be used for literally any kind of textures or avatars. A 6-legged dragon with wings can be fully BOM-compatible, for example. It seems like this isn't really understood.
It does if the body has its own uv map outside of the sl classic uv map. I tried a classic skin with a mesh body and the nipples were in the wrong place as well as body markings; highlights, shadows and so on.
The skin creators were only creating for the classic avatar.
When I wear the V and enable bom for it, it matches perfectly with the bom skin I am wearing for the specific body I am wearing.
I cannot wear a bom skin made for maitreya on the legacy body for example. It will not be aligned properly, as each skin created is made for a particular body's uv map.
No idea why you don't know this?
The V is made for specific bodies, each in its own listing. I only use the V for legacy as it's rigged to the legacy. when I wear a body skin painted for legacy, I use that with the V.

Hello everyone. I've decided it makes more sense to create new threads for different tutorials. By doing it this way, the people who viewed this first tutorial, will know I made a new one and will look into the 2nd thread instead of coming into this one. Thank you to those who viewed this tutorial and I hope it helped you in your creations!
