  1. Here's a look inside the new building game "Patterns" Linden Lab is developing.
  2. The LSL functions llSensor, llSensorRepeat, and llMoveToTarget are probably used in most of the speed-up attachments. Wouldn't be hard to write one if you know basic scripting.
  3. Thanks, glad you liked it. Next I could have Catpaw go on a tear through Linden Village and assassinate the Governor.:catlol:
  4. Very true, though I doubt some people actually pay much attention to proper cooling. Blocked air flow, dust, worn fans, etc. CPU's get fried on less than 100%. If you're getting the 100% even with the viewer window minimized, please report it on the JIRA. This is a nasty bug and we need all the help we can get tracking it down so the Lindens can fix it. Thankx!
  5. If you have copy permissions for the house, take a copy before you start making changes. If you don't like how the changes turn out, you can revert the entire house or individual pieces back to what it was when you started.
  6. A number of people have discovered the latest viewers cause 100% CPU usage even when minimized. This can overheat CPUs possibly damaging them. Please read the following JIRA for details: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28388
  7. This is a downgrade. Why? Because it results in people having to do more work. Notecards, textures, objects, etc will have to be manually moved to the desired folders. Making something that was automatic into a manual system is against what software and computers are all about - making things easier and faster. My suggestion is to use the Received Items folder for Marketplace deliveries only and keep the existing system in place. A possible alternative would be to have a configuration option where we could choose between the current method (notecards go to notecard folder, textures go to texture folder, etc.) and the new method of sending everything to the Received Items folder.
  8. Does anyone know if the Numbakulla Pot Healer adventure sim is still around? It seems to have disappeared...
