I got "knocked up" by an On-Duty **bleep**, and (like you) got a free abortion, fearing something would happen to my avatar, or I'd get bothered, or something. My friends set me straight after that, and said, "ignore it". After that, another On-Duty **bleep** "knocked me up". I ignored it. 1) Except for the announcement telling me I was pregnant and I should come get a belly, I recieved nothing from On-Duty. So, I think SPAM concerns are probably unwarranted. 2) After the second impregnation (an, my ignoring it), I was with any number of On-Duty fellas, and not once have I been told I'm pregnant. I went to that FAQ first. I find nothing on this. The only thing mentioned about voice playback was that I could test my voice in Voice Echo Canyon. Is this a feature of voice chat? I assumed it was, and I just couldn't figure out how to turn it off.

When I use voice-chat, whatever I say is played back at about a 1 sec delay. How do I turn this off. I am using the latest version (as of Jan 2012) of Second Life Viewer. I am not using alternative voices. I am not using voice software. I am using it at my own linden-home, and not at some test location. I'm using a USB head-set that includes a mic. The playback voice sounds nothing like me. It is a gender-neutral voice of some sort. I've been to the knowledge base & wiki, and find nothing. I am assuming this is a feature of the voice-chat. If this is not, then please say so in your answer. This play back is very distracting, causing me to pause and stutter as I speak. Please. Can I turn this off?
