    lol I have always though this went on when I bought something with a lot of 5 star reviews (which is why I bought it) and it turned out to be total crap.

    I just downloaded the Linux version of the LL viewer a week ago and it runs great however it has no sound thus not so great and I have tried to solve this problem until it became boring and gave up

    Linden Labs does have a Linux version (for Mint and Ubuntu) however I have no sound I and am sick of playing with it trying to make it work so back to Singularity most of the time and Firestorm part time.

    I had this problem until I moved to mainland, it seemed anytime I was teleporting from my private region to another I would lock up or crash. Now I don't seem to have trouble anymore teleporting to another region or back home again.

    Marxism is Marxism not socialism and there is an entire philosophy of Karl Marx as Karl Marx was a German Philosopher not a politician or a political leader, Marx published The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital he did not enact them as any sort of government other people took his works and used bits and pieces of them kind of like people do with religious stuff and they always bastardised it and use it to their advantage. As far as the Republican Party goes it was founded in 1854, called Republican after the form of American Government "Republic" it was founded by anti-slavery activists, economic modernisers, ex Whigs and ex Free Soilers NOT socialists from Europe, as far as the colours of the GOP there is a lot of speculation and reasons but none of them have anythign to do with socialism. The phrase "Useful Idiot" was used by Soviet communists and the KGB to refer to those who had been successfully manipulated (see 2016 election for details). Again these are facts NOT my opinion.

    Socialism is an economic system while communism is both an economic and political system. Socialists can own personal properties while communists can not. Socialism allows capitalism to exist in its midst while communism seeks to get rid of capitalism. Not the same thing at all. The happiest most peaceful and well off countries are socialist and ranked the best countries in the world to live in.

    What you fail to realise (as most Americans do) is that Socialism is an economic system and communism is a political system they do not usually go hand in hand and in most countries that are socialist they have pretty liberal democracies. Examples of socialism are Social Security, public libraries, public schools, public parks etc, etc, etc. The top 8 countries in the world are socialist. America is not a democracy it is a republic and it is run by plutocrats. I'm just giving you the facts, it's not my opinion.

    I wish there was a love button for your comment. You can add Canada, Ireland, Sweden, New Zealand, Belgium and The Netherlands to that list of Socialist countries. The trouble is Americans are brainwashed to think Socialism and Communism are the same thing by the fascists who run the government and strip the American people of public parks, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, public utilities including easy and affordable access to internet especially for the purpose of education. I'm so sick of America trying to control the world, they told me "love it or leave it" and I did (leave it) in 1986 and they are still trying to regulate me and tax me!

    The user name and the sentence structure are Indo-Aryan (Punjabi maybe?) so... I think the question is "how do I change my avatar picture?" Answer: Open your profile - drag the picture you want and drop it. Or double click your profile picture and choose a texture / picture from your inventory.

    I'm fine in my own skin and my own mesh but I don't need an escape from reality or virtual reality but I get that some people do.

    I'm not a RPer so I treat people as I would in RL because SL is an extension of RL for me and a way to reach out to the world and create good will and friendship. So, I treat everyone with respect and if they do not reciprocate well, I just move on.

    It will take about 24 to 35 sound clips to make a full song. I use a programme called WinFF, it's for Linux and Windows, you can find it here: http://www.biggmatt.com/winff/ Make sure you save the music segments in 9 second increments (or less) sound clips as wav files, drop them in a prim and if you need a script to make them play shoot me an IM and I'm happy to give you one. I'm also happy to show you how to do it in less than a minute in world once you have the sound clips.

    Looks pretty cool but I just did an ocean side theme and got a lot of the residents in the area to blend in with the concept, open the borders and help build a community. The trouble with mainland is there will always be that one guy who buys a 512 plot and starts breeding 1000 dragons or the guy who builds a skybox on the surface. Good luck to you, your space looks very nice.

    Since so many people are so upset about my original post my group has unlisted our sim and we will just keep to ourselves. My intention was not to advertise anything, it was an invitation to people looking for friendship and people to chat with but is seems like a pretty good idea to retract that offer and invitation at this point.
