Okay, so I still am frustrated. I had Black Dragon for several months, it ran just fine, then out of the blue it became incompatible. So I downloaded Firestorm because it has graphics and not text only-I This is a fairly newer-several months old- larger pc, a HP laptop as compared to a smaller notebook that had all sorts of glitches- another brand, but one that I would not recommend. Its broken, so not an option. This pc supposedly is geared towards people using the kind of graphics used in gaming, which should be sufficient for running SL. I uninstalled two other programs so SL would run smoother, but did not help.. If I knew what info I need to get this fixed and which viewer to use it would be great. I am not an IT person, but I really enjoy being on SL.

I have no idea what is wrong, but I get a really annoying revolving blue circle when I'm doing activities or even just walking in SL. The screen then goes dark ,flickers, my avie and the sim re-appears and I get logged out And the fact I bought this computer because it had AMD and not Intel makes it that much more frustrating..Please help me..! Thank You!

Timothy Scarborough on Helping Haven has a DJ class there. Good info, he answers questions RE: DJ-ing on SL too. Also helpful is his class on hosting in clubs.

Last week I took some photos with snapshot on SL using phototools. I sent them to the Profile setting, and they still have not shown up there. Yes, from now on they will go to disc or flickr. However, they did record as being posted, so just where did they go? It just seems odd to me, but yeah, no more photos sent to profile..:|

Timothy Scarborough in the Helping Haven sim has a great DJ class and he will answer questions re: being a SL DJ. He also has a class on hosting. Both good classes for people looking to DJ or be a host/hostess in SL.

I got logged out twice after not being on long and both times I was on a sim with no other avies. I am on Windows 8.1, on a note book pc, usually minmal probems and when I do crash or get logged out its on a full sim. Any idea if or how this can be fixed? I cleared my cache several days ago as well as clearing my Windows stuff daily. This is very frustrating..Please help me! Thank you! Sierra Styles

Just a PS at this point, but I have had nothing but trouble with Asus computers. Be sure to get a service contract if you have not already done so: mine have all been lemons, and I would never buy one again..

I have a CtrlAltStudio viewer-my pc is a notebook. So far it has been the only viewer that worked on this pc. I just found out this week support is being discontinued and it won't be updated. Is there any new viewer out there that works with smaller pc's? I don't want to lose SL due to this.. Sierra Styles

Dear SL Techies; I'm puzzled . My AltCtrlStudio was working fine. Okay,McAfee seems to hate it. but now I get error mesages saying SL has stopped working, two or three times tonight/this morning. I wish I had a Mac computer but I'm stuck with Windows. What they have against their buyers/users, I wish I knew. I do not think I am asking too much to expect my pc to work more than not work.. got a new pc in March, and I don't know if its the problem or if other unknoown factors are. I get messages abou proxy settings, data unavailable and the like when I try to access the SL web pages..I get through, then things go down hill fast.. And I have yet to find a 3rd party viewer that does not crash, sometimes within minutes of signing in/on. CtrlAlt was fine for a while but not anymore. Firestorm, SIngularity, BlackDragon andUKanDo went rogue too. I don't remember if I tried Kokua yet.. But until recently, things were going pretty much fine, if not flawless..Can anyone please help me with this matter? Thanks!

Hello Torley! I have the Forestorm Beta viewer, 4.0.1, 27000. It would occasionally crash, but it was always fixable.{Clear out interent cache, close other programs running.} But now, I.m both stumped and stuck.. I was having minor issues Friday, but since yesterday, I cannot get inworld no matter what I do or change. I even ininstalled and reintstalled Firestorm. I miss talking with my sl friends ! Can this be fixed? Thank You!

For almost a week now, I have been ableto get on SL. When I try to send a message to a friend, the sytem says they are not a recognized user, but they are.Any way of fixing this? I tried to send via the mailboxon the marketplace, can;t access S/l profile either to keave message... Thanks, Sierra Styles Honored Resident
