How can i do see and modify my profile from the dashboard? THANK YOU!

I'm a newby, it happens since the first time i was on SL, and i cleared the cache more than once!

When I fly happens something really odd. Sometimes I go flying and flying and flying: if I press button "stop fly", or if I try to stop avatar's movement, or just stop flying in World menu, nothing happens, and I have to log off and then log on. Sometimes I can stop flying from Worl menu. Is there a solution? (Phoenix) THANK YOU!

Dashboard Search gives no result when searching my name. How can I change this? THANK YOU!
