  1. Being a gacha merchant myself I have seen some of the less the stellar practices of other merchants. Your best bet is to buy with a reputable merchant or ask to see it in world. Most honest sellers will do it. If you can't seem to find the info you need IM the seller. If you still can't get it, then your best bet is to not buy it. A lot of times we just skim over things and don't see it already listed. I very rarely come across someone who doesn't list what they actually have. For one big reason, people will NOT buy it. That's why we list as much as we can. As for when you are talking about you know we aren't the creator. Some people don't know. I teach people about gachas every day. Some people don't even know they exist or how they work. All of my items say we aren't the creator, do not buy this offline, and you have to contat LL if it gets lost. That way people know the risk they are taking. If you buy a gahca from anywhere you are taking a risk of it not getting to you or not being what you bought, Always check what you are buying BEFORE you spend money on it.hants.
  2. If you are willing to explain most people will normally hire you. However if you don't want to explain, just keep looking. There are tons and tons of places that will look past the 30 day age.
  3. I applied for this job a few months back and I was told oh I will contact you when I need you. I was NEVER contacted so I finally gave up. Then I started seeing people having the same problems. They were being told the exact same thing and never being contacted. I've talked to at least 100 people who all say they tried and recieved no answer. If it sounds to good to be true it really is. There are so many GREAT stores and places looking for people just like YOU, you just have to look. Have a wonderful day!
  4. Hello! I am very interested in talking with you about this! I've sent you an IM and I can't wait to hear back from you! Have a wonderful day! Quiggles78 Resident
  5. I have actually looked into this job several times and was very interested but a 6 hour shift? That feels like quite a bit of time. We spend a lot of time in SL but 6 hours seems a bit excsessive. Is there any wiggle room on that or anything like that? Maybe such as working when possible as long as its 6 hours or more a week? Have a wonderful day!
  6. What do you need help with? Money? Managment? Do you have experience running clubs? Do you own land for a club? Do you have staff for a club? How will you generate traffic? All very important questions and many more. You avi is also two months old. Is this your first avi? Many younger residents don't know what truly goes into running a club. The less info you give the less people are going to be willing to contact you about your business. I wish you the best and I hope your business does well!
  7. So your only real difference is you are built into a mountain and you have high traffic due to bots. You may be running a good business but everything you listed any other club does and can do. Most venues now allow everyone. I very rarely come across many large clubs that have rules against who they allow other then the occasional one asking that people be humans. What you are referring to are clubs that market to a specific group of people. Which if that group of people is large enough is a smart business decision. Most clubs list at least part of these rules in their about land and tp info in search Sl it's very easy to see before you tp. It's just a matter of going to the right places. Ive been working in clubs for years now and I've never been told I have to stand in a certain place to host or dj (I've worked in hundreds of clubs over the years). The thing that sets you apart is the mountain which after looking at the club would not be difficult to replicate. No doubt your club is wonderful and you are doing a good job. It's just a matter of you are just like every other club in sl. I hope you find someone who is willing to find your venture
  8. Hello Spencer I was actually interested in this until I saw the end of your post. How exactly is your club different then other clubs? Just because you are built into a cave? I was down at your club this morning and the only thing different that I have seen from every other club in SL is you are built into a cave. Which truly anyone can do and will do now that you have advertised you are the "only" one. Your costs are a bit on the high end money wise (maybe not club wise) but it is going to take a lot of convincing and showing what your club can really do to get someone to partner with you. Most clubs do not last long in SL or they are just money pits that the owners throw money into. An investor would need more information before getting involved in this. Have a wonderful day!
  9. Hello, You are one week old correct? Is this your first avi? Do you know how to run a business in SL? Do you know how to promote a business in SL? Does the project collasp if someone does not help fund you? What experience do you have with SL and owning a business in SL? What kind of land do you need? Do you need someone else to pay for it or will you be chipping in? What do you expect someone to contribute? What will that person get paid? What kind of past experience does someone need for this job? This is all info you need to know and be able to tell people to get people on board with your project. Have a wondeful day!
  10. I have a couple of comments I would like to make here. Angel, I would love to help you out any way I can I'm a blogger and love to help new companies and smaller companies grow their businesses. I am normally around SL and avaible to do odd jobs as well. You are more then welcome to contact me and see my resume and my work any time you would like Radium, I dont see your problem with this. Number one its not your store. Number two do you realize how many stores hire bloggers, managers, assistants, ect. Businesses have to start somewhere. It takes a village to do something like this. Looking at your profile you have no profile pic and your profile isnt filled out. You have a total of 2 picks and some groups. Nothing in your profile backs up you have any experience with stores, blogging, magment, or even work in SL at all. All your comment does is make you look rude. Angel could be a super model but you would never know and neither would we unless she decided to share that with us. There is no need for rude comments about her RL or SL. Its not your business or your money. Its her business and her money. I hope you find something better to do with your free time then this. SL is a place where we enjoy and share. If you don't like it you dont have to be a part of it. I hope you both have a wonderful day and a great SL
  11. If you rent mainland the only thing you can do is contact LL. If you rent from an Estate the owners may be able to reset the land if they can get in. Remember to make sure to have at least 2 people in your group at all times or it will close.
  12. Every offline message I get goes to my email box, which I got emails yesterday and this morning, so it is working for sure. As well as even if I was offline and they didnt go to my emails they would have been there when I logged into SL the next day. None of which were there. I see you comming on and offline when I am online. However, I will not chase someone as if you are serious about a job you would be messaging back to find out. You also met both of the owners of our club. They have not heard from you either. If you were not able to get in touch with me, wouldn't the next logical step be to get in touch with the owners whom were speaking with you about hiring you. As for your bad internet connection, we were more then happy to work with you on that. I made that clear several times. We were excited to have you on our team and I am very dissapointed that it had to end this way. Short of chasing you down every time you log in, I'm not really sure what you expected us to do. I wish you the best of luck with your job hunt and your SL life.
  13. Heya! I keep some of my stock inworld and some on MP. Mainly for the reason of I have a lot of stuff to do on my land, games, beach area ect. It adds to my land. However, I have been thinking about converting to MP alone so I can use my land for the things that I want. If you do builds, furniture, skins, anything that needs demos or rezzers I think that an Inworld store is very much worth it. I wont buy things like builds and funiture unless I've seen it and tested it in world. Now for simple things like clothes or gacha items, I don't think you really need an inworld store. Its really up to you and what you like best. Best of luck, Quiggles
  14. Hello, I offered you, Morgan, a job on the 11th and you never got back to me after saying you had unstable internet . I waited around to add you to our group and never heard back from you. You seemed very uninterested. Our owners and I were ready to hire you and you were in and out and never contacted any of us again about being hired. If you are looking for a job you should tell people what your skills are and what you are interested in. You are more likely to get a job if people know what you can do and what you have experience with. I wish you the best of luck.
  15. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ MY POST ABOVE AND READ THE COMMENTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS JOB. ITS FAKE. NO ONE EVER GETS HIRED OR GETS ANY MONEY!
  16. For those of you interested in this job. I saw a post made by the same person about needing public relations staff. I IM'd the poster and was met with info (info in the form of an NC which I will talk about) for a live singer. Okay, cool, the job wasnt what I expected or wanted. However, I pulled up the post made here to see if maybe I had just misread. I want to point out a few things in this post. You Base Pay:50L per gig and POSSSIBLY a portion of the tips. Sorry but this isnt high paying to me. You can go and strip for more money then this. You may also get a bouns if you reach their head count and tip bonuses. In this day and age clubs just arent what they used to be. Live singers do well but many dont make it for a long period of time. Which all comes down to you aren't likely to get 100L a week. Better positions in the future: So even if you are crappy at your job and dont do anything you are promised a better place because you signed up first. This is not a good business mentalitly. You should give people promotions because they are good and hard working. Not just promise them they get a better spot because they signed up. It makes people who join the team later feel like its not worth it as those spots are for people who have been there 1 week, 1 month, 1 day longer then they have. This job is easy: The notecard I recieved says you will do giveaways, send group messages, advertise (if done correctly this is a full time job in itself), brainstorm for gigs (which happen at least 3 times a week.), AND you must make an NC at the end of every week to say what you have actually done. For experience advertisers and promoters this is a daily thing but this may be a bit more then someone with little experience can handle. DOES NOT REQUIRE MUCH TIME: As if the work above was not enough. You must be able to work 2 extra hours 3 days a week plus attend at least one show each week. Personally I feel this ad was poorly written and the other ads that the poster has made really dont say anything about the job. I'm sorry if I come across as harsh or rude however I believe people should know what they are getting into before they waste their time on it. I wish everyone with this project luck and I hope you find some good people. Have a wonderful day
  17. Hello HS means Homestead (Which have 3750 prims). I hate to tell you but no one worth working for is going to hire you straight out as a manager. Most companies who could even afford to do that are in that position because they arlready have great managers. You may get commission pay but no one is going to give you a homestead. It just wont happen unless someone is being dishonest. Your best bet is to start somewhere as a land sales agent and get commission pay and work up from there. I'm sorry if I come off a bit harsh but Ive been selling land and been a land manager since 2012. So I have quite a bit of knowledge about this.
  18. Hello, What are you good at? What are your skills? What are you not good at? What kind of job are you looking for? Do you have experience? Do you expect to get paid? How much? Is there a job you will not do? Stripping? Escorts? Modeling? Ect. If you dont add info then people arent likely to contact you. They will go with people who put out more info and have the skills and know how.
  19. Where is this space? What can it be used for? WHat are the rates? Are they really cheap? What about people who don't want to email you? What are the rules on this land? Do you have other renters? Is it a store? Table? Cardboard box? Mabye people would be more intersted if they had more info Have a wonderful evening
  20. Can you give us a little more info on how this works? Afforable by what means? What do you do? How much money do you offer? What about the people who need help who don't want to email you? Do you have the names and testimonies of people you have worked with before? Can we talk to them? It will likley help you a TON of you add more information! Have a wonderful evening!
  21. To those of you posting about this job asking questions: I myself felt this was too good to be true. So I messaged the original poster. I was told "I'll contact you when I need you" and never heard from him again. Weeks went by with no message. So I posted on several of the other postings by this person here. Suddenly I started getting IM's saying "THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! HE NEVER MESSAGED ME BACK!" A few days after I started posting all of this I recived a message from a relativly new avi. They were asking about the job. I told them I was not the one who posted it and that it was too good to be true. I then got asked if I had any jobs. My wife and I run a gacha resale and have a manager (Who doesnt get paid) so I said I dont have any jobs. The person then got rather irate calling me a liar among other choice names. I ended up having to ban them from my land and report them to LL. Please heed the warning. If it looks too good to be true it likely is! The poster of this could be a really great person. However I can only go by the results I have personally seen and what people have messaged me about it. My best advice, don't waste your time on this. There's TONS of real places that have ACTUAL JOBS! Heck I'd help you look for one **Only uploaded images may be used in postings**s://secondlife.i.lithium.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif" border="0" alt="Smiley Tongue" title="Smiley Tongue" /> I really wsh this would stop being posted because I get ims all the time saying they got scammed too. They are always posting as a way for attention I would guess. If there really was a job like this I doubt that they would need to keep posting this ad. I have yet to have one credible person say that they actually got a job from here. Sorry for the long post!
