  1. A really good looking photograph. Great composure.
  2. I hear that some photographs were sent privately to Enchanted Breedables but, in the end, Stormy won the prize. Well done Stormy. Congratulations.
  3. Lovely use of shadows and lighting.
  4. Sorry, I couldn't resist uploading a second photograph, just for the fun of it. Again, I'm not after the honey (I have my own bees) but I do think this idea is a great one and I wish you every sucess.
  5. That sounds a really fun idea. I don't want to make a formal entry but I would love to still be able to take part. This is a photograph of a Jawa, just to show that even Jawa love their teddies (After all, yesterday was International Star Wars Day.)
  6. You can ask that resident, but it is down to their goodwill (or lack of it) whether they reply (or not.) Surely, if the sum is only six Lindens, what is this fuss about? This equates to about a single UK penny – are you really concerned about this poultry amount?
  7. The only time I filed an AR, the confirmation was received within in few seconds.
  8. That's a really beautiful picture. The lack of harsh vibrant colours really gives it a warm rustic charm of its own.
  9. Hello, Dazler is unable to reply to his own thread due to constraints of the software and so he has asked me to post and say that he has marked the question "Answered" by LoveAngeL. He felt that her answer was the best reply to his issue. Thank you.
  10. Thank you for the feedback. I'll do another search when I next go online. Thank you.
  11. This looks a great venture! A friend and me took a taxi to the SLURL to find out more but neither of us could find any further details of how to enter, at the Adoption Centre where the SLURL led to. Should we just post entries directly to you or reply to this thread with our entry? By the way, good luck with the competition, it's a lovely idea and I do hope that it gathers a great deal of interest.
  12. Sorry but this is a "resident to resident" forum. I think your question needs to be directed to Linden Labs Support.
  13. This may sound silly, but have you turned it on? All the AOs I have used have an "on" and "off" button. Does the HUD look tainted red? If it does, it needs to be pushed once to turn it green ( the "on" state) Perhaps some of the computer geniuses can suggest more in-depth answers.
  14. Duplicate thread. Please use http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/my-AO-is-not-working-its-attached/qaq-p/1311029 for replies.
  15. Over the month or so, deliveries have been dreadful. When I purchase something, it can take anything up to four hours to deliver, if at all. I recall the days when deliveries were made in a few seconds. It is rare that I use the marketplace now.
  16. If you don't wish to pay, keep a basic account only. Then, when your problems are fixed, you can play the game with no fee.
  17. I am sorry but I do not know what you mean by "birth place." Do you mean "home" or do you mean the very first location from which you begun your Second Life adventure? Perhaps you mean something completely different. You might want to edit your post to explain. Thank you.
  18. If you have an iPad or iPhone I know that you can purchase applications from the App Store. I have used both Pocket MV and Sparkle to access Second Life and, although they are very basic, they do allow you to instant message your friends and attend to very simple chores.
  19. /me passes a spanner and wrench. Happy New Year to you all.
  20. I really love coming online and playing in Second Life. Excellent work Linden Labs and to all the content creators out there too. Here's to a great 2012 too!
  21. Bizarre and beautiful. Well done, the video looks excellent. Happy New Year to you too.
  22. Don't worry about it. By opening a store, you only activate additional software functions on the marketplace software (such as the ability to add stock) and it will do no harm to leave this. Just forget about it - you are not going to be disciplined or anything like this. I guess there are hundreds of residents like you, who have clicked on this button out of curiosity. I would simple advise you to ignore this and continue to use the marketplace software as you have done in the past. Hey, in a few months time, you might even want to try your hand at opening a store or selling something - so you might even want to use it then.
  23. Look at your transactions history on the marketplace software to find out whether the item was delivered. Ask your friend to find out whether the item has been received. If your friend accidentally declined the item in error, you could try contacting the merchant for a redelivery request (if the item is not transferable.) There is no guarantee that the merchant will oblige but it is worth a try if you are concerned about your Lindens. Just remember to write a polite and well-worded notecard to increase your chance of a satisfactory outcome (if the item needs to be delivered) but be aware that the merchant may decide not to oblige - after all, the fault was not theirs. If the item was discarded in error and you manage to get a redeliver, please remember to write and thank the merchant for their goodwill.
  24. Don't worry - it's just a software quirk. The alpha layer is hiding up your legs and feet so that you can wear your canine limbs because canine limbs are a different shape to human limbs. It's just a software quirk about how the software processes alpha layers when viewed with other textures. Try walking onto bare ground and you will see that your limbs look perfect. As far as I know, if you want to role play a furry creature, this little texture problem is one that you will just have to accept and ignore.
